Fun!
Excellent! There is a learning curve! I popped or puffed popcorn, rice and wheat, I think I like the puffed wheat the best with butter and salt! The puffed rice is just like the commercial puffed rice in a box. I checked out and converted the metric numbers on the pressure gage and 10kg cm squared is only 14.25 psi! But when you release that 14.25 psi in an instant it makes a very nice boom! Of course my wife wasn’t that impressed but as a guy it was amazing! One problem I ran into was the white bag that you shoot the popcorn into melted holes in the upper bag where the release lever goes through the bag. Maybe I was too slow releasing it after trying to pull the release lever but I think the canvas bag is polyester or something because it melts. Good thing they give you two bags but I think I’ll have the wife sew me a cotton bag that doesn’t melt!

Fun! Functional!
Fun! If a little tedious to crank for the third or fourth round of 10 minutes. Word of warning: soft foods (e.g. garlic or raisins) don't puff up when you pull the lever, they just get exploded out and mashed into the side of the bag as a hot, fragrant, possibly burnt paste. :P (Still fun, though.) I recommend hard foods for popping. (Popcorn, rice....) I think normal pressure-cooking is also an option, though.

What's this part for?
Best way to make popcorn I've found. Check expiration dates if doing outer grains such as rice. I've yet to figure out what the part in the photo is for.

Don’t like the embossed dragon image
Looks well made and seems of good value including tools, 2 bags and extra wicks. I haven’t used it yet. The only reason why it might be returned is because of the embossed dragon. Frankly this fire breathing dragon would scare a child and I don’t care for it either. I now see the description mentions a dragon but pictures only shows a bird. After seeing this dragon I can understand why.

Not worth the money breaks right away
The first time I went to use it the pressure gauge exploded at 4 pounds unit is no longer working. I wish I hadn’t bought it.

The most fun way to make popcorn!
I bought this Chinese popcorn machine as a birthday gift for my dad, and it was a hit! We used 95% alcohol as fuel and tried popping both butterfly style popcorn kernels and rice — it really worked! The popping sound had everyone in the house laughing, and my dad absolutely loved it. Highly recommended as a fun and unique way to entertain guests. I'm really glad I bought it for family fun and entertainment!

This thing is amazing, I love it. There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get it things work great.
