Excellent so far. As a vegetarian, it is nice to see such a high quality option available that also includes DPA. I like that the ingredients are very clean. There is no rancid smell whatsoever. I highly recommend. The capsules are nice and squishy and very easy to swallow.

I’ve been following a whole-food plant-based (WFPB) diet for about a year and a half. Prior to that, I was taking fish oil, but stopped when I started eating WFPB. A few months ago, I started getting pain in my hips (trochanteric bursitis) due to inflammation according to my doctor. The pain was waking me up at night and bothering me during the day. I tried a pillow between my legs at night and that helped some, but I knew I needed to get back to taking an Omega 3 supplement and I wanted a vegan alternative to the fish oil. I also wanted to stay away from carrageenan and it was important to me that it include DHA, EPA & DPA. I tried my local health food store and they only had one option and it did not meet the above criteria. I then purchased this Bloom Omega 3 via Amazon. The relief from pain was nothing short of amazing! I no longer wake up from pain in the middle of the night and I certainly don’t feel any pain during the day. I don’t get a fishy taste. I find the taste is neutral with a hint of lemon. And I don’t get fish burps. I recently place an order for my third bottle. Edit 10/21/2022 according to Amazon records I've purchased this item 31 times. I stopped taking it for approximately 1 year to try another brand. During that year, my hip pain got significantly worse. It wasn't until I started taking this supplement again and the pain subsided that the light bulb went off! The other supplement was not as good as this one by a long shot! I wish I had attributed the pain to the lack of this supplement a lot sooner, but I didn't think there would be a difference. There100% is a difference! I'm so glad to be using this again.

Great omega supplement that’s easily digested and no repeat burps like some omega supplements do.

I wanted a vegan omega-3 that is farm raised so that it's free from pollutants, toxins, and fish. It's also more sustainable and non-GMO. It also had to be free from carrageenan. This checks all the boxes for me. The capsules are about twice the length of other vegan omega-3s I've tried. However, they are very easy to swallow thanks to the softgel formula. They are pleasant smelling (like lemon) with no taste at all. Although the recommended dosage is two softgels, I'm only taking one per day and I'm getting as much DHA (and bonus DPA!) as two other brands I recently tried for around the same price. So for me, it's a 2 month supply. I'm happy to have found these and feel better knowing I'm being more proactive with my health and the environment. I've just added these to subscribe and save so I don't run out.

I took vegan an algae-based Omega 3 supplement just as insurance in the case that my body isn't as efficient as it needs to be at converting ALA fatty acids to DHA, and this brand is excellent! The taste is actually decent (there is a bit of a fishy taste, yes, and that should be expected; the fishy taste is no worse than that which one would experience when taking, say, a bite of a tuna sandwich or a bite of salmon), and the capsules are a normal size. I love, love, love that these are carrageenan-free, as well; in fact, I think it might be the only brand available at the moment that is (and, actually, I think that it is currently unavailable via Amazon---I am hopeful that the status changes when it comes time for me to reorder). All in all, if you are vegan and, like me, looking to ensure that your body has an adequate supply of DHA, I wholly recommend this product. If you experience "fishy burps" after taking it (I actually don't with this particular brand, but everyone is different), then just take it at night just before going to bed.

Many hours of research led us to this product, which incorporates the scientific wisdom gleaned by the creator from his own commitment to research and dedication to quality. We are vegans in our sixties, eating an excellent whole food, plant-based nutrient dense diet. When my healthy husband tested a wee bit low for Omega 3 despite plenty of flax and chia, it doubled my resolve to find a an algae Omega 3 supplement without a lot of unnecessary added ingredients or poisonous, inflammatory carrageenan. That's not easy! After tentatively choosing this one despite the unwanted MCT oil, we gave it a try and were satisfied with our choice until a new bottle arrived with slightly leaky capsules, due most likely to our extreme home altitude of 10,000 ft. To be sure they were safe, I called the company, expecting the same vague, unresponsive, useless "customer service" that has become the contemporary norm. Instead, we received a personal callback from Al, the company creator and owner, when he got home at 8pm from a long day of patient care. This personable and knowledgeable gentleman took time away from his wife, daughters and dinner to patiently answer our questions, reassure me of the product safety, discuss the science, and explain that they are in the process of improving the capsules, eliminating the MCT oil, and enhancing the Omega 3 profile even more. He then offered to send us another bottle even tho the ones we have are safe to use. THIS IS HOW TO WIN CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE! We are inexpressibly grateful. Thank you, Al! It was easy to swallow The taste is great the price is great no upset stomach no gagging no feeling the need to throw up it feels good it's very effective and very happy with the product that I've been using this is the first time I bought it off Amazon I was getting it directly from the company and I saw I that it was here so I will be buying it from here as well very good for my brain and body
