My son is very active in sports. Right now, we are in football season. There’s no bigger fear for a parent than with it’s YOUR child injured on the field. During a tackle, my sons left was bent the wrong direction. Fortunately, nothing was broken. But there was a lot of bruising and inflammation. He was booted and on crutches for a week. Doctors orders were to keep it straight, use a compression sleeve and ice it. When you’re a sports parent, you want your kid to have the best things. There were many more expensive compression sleeves but I am a Review Reader and this one seemed like what I needed. Also, it was one of the few that met the size demensions for a child’s leg. My son is 5’ tall, 110lbs and we got a small. It was true to fit. He wore it under his brace all week for 5 days straight. On his follow up appointment, his doctor complimented the quality of the compression sleeve, cleared him to resume sports, and encouraged him to continue wearing the sleeve throughout the rest of the season as needed. It did not slide or slip during the entire game. So glad I got this one for him.

I ordered two of these for my arthritic knees. I measured as recommended and the size was perfect. These are very comfortable. The fabric was not bothersome. They did not slip and were not bulky or bothersome. I also liked the color. It made my knees feel less painful. They enabled me to do a lot more walking than I would have otherwise. I am currently awaiting the knee injections to be done, and hopefully I will not need to use these in the future. However, in the meantime, I am very happy that I decided to try these. I highly recommend these.

The mauwi brace fits well, even while sitting in a chair with my leg bent. Unlike another brace I have, it does not bunch up behind the knee too much so it doesn't hurt after an extended time. It is longer than I originally wanted, but I feel this is a positive after wearing it.I would have given 5 stars, but without the silicone grippers at the top of the brace it does slide down, albeit slower than other braces I have worn.

I had surgery after fracturing my tibial plateau and tearing the lateral meniscus. I started using this knee sleeve during the PWB phase. The quality of the Mauwi sleeve is very high. Very comfortable. It helps tremendously especially in climbing stairs and driving... activities that might employ parts of the knee that are still recovering. Also, I'm 6'3" with a fairly large build, but the XL size turned out to be an excellent fit. Highly recommend for post-surgery rehabilitation.

Buying the Mauwi Compression Knee Sleeve was a concern because, sight-unseen, I didn't believe it would fit my very large leg. I saw the photos and noticed the model's legs were about the same size, so I took a shot ...and it worked! It's snug, comfy and keeps my Runner's Knee problem in check by reducing swelling (and therefore pain).I sweat. I wake up early and open up those pores! I live in a humid and hot environment, so I was also concerned about how long the sleeve would last before becoming intolerable. True to their word, it breathes so amazingly well. I still may buy another specifically for my workouts.I'm sure you've seen it and may be skeptical; yes, the price is right. The value:price ratio is in favor of the value. I have no remorse at all for spending as little as I did for such a quality product.My little girls even loved it ...largely because it says "Mauwi." (They were thinking, "Maui" from Moana). I don't know why Mauwi is waiting, we need a variety of colors! I'm probably looking at Runner's Knee for the rest of my life, so I need options. Great fit, fantastic breathability, and an overall win for value over price.

Have worn them around the house but the true test will be running in them, but based on the high quality, excellent flexibility, support in my movements, good form of the sleeve around the knee, and not falling down, they look like they will work for my needs. Tore meniscus in both knees during a 25K race years ago and did not have surgery, letting them heal on their own. Still give me trouble occasionally so wear basic knee straps under knee caps now, but wanted to try something else. These sleeves around the house at least relieve the discomfort. I do not know if I will like the compression around the thighs but the knee area I do. Not sure if the sleeves will rub too much on the back of the knees, but will see when I use them in my training.

I really like this and the green band is tight around the knees. It’s tight enough compression-wise without feeling it will cut off my circulation from the thighs, which honestly I’ve tried a couple compression knee sleeves and they do not offer as much support in the knees as it tightens around the thighs :-( ugh... Anyways, fits pretty close to size I bought an XL (19” circumference) and I would recommend. I only dropped one star because I haven’t worn it that long and just got it, but I will update my review if it holds up in the washing machine.

I do most of my hiking where the trails are on the steep side (10 or 20 percent grade) and sometimes even have steps. My left knee in particular gets sore after a few miles. The knee sleeve seems to keep the patella centered so that it doesn't press against stuff that doesn't like being pressed against. When I wear it I don't get the usual soreness and swelling, and I can hike some more the next day.
