Amazon needs to change the photo and description of the product which shows a power cord with molded ends (i.e., waterproof) and suitable for outdoor use, which is a necessity for a portable generator which will often be used during inclement weather. Your description also stated that the cord has 10 gauge wire. The actual product does not, in fact, have molded connector ends and is 12 gauge wire, not the heavier 10 gauge described.I will say, however, that the product actually provided was decent quality and adequate for our present application a 3.25kw genset); except for the fact that the connector ends will have to be caulked to make them waterproof and more suitable for outdoor use. Also, if we ever get a larger generator we will have to buy a 10 gauge cord to replace the one that was shipped to us.

Its ok, performed as expected.

Like others have mentioned, the cord does not come with molded-in, water-tight connectors. The connectors that are used are quality items, but not weatherproof. Overall, this cord does the job well.

Will work with the 12 ga.wire but was hoping for the heavier 10 ga. wire. Read the other review and hoped it was a mistake. The molded ends would have been nice at least. Like I said it will work, it's within the guide lines and looks to be a good product.
