As prior review noted, these blocks aren't all units of eachother, so some are "odd" in relation to other blocks. That's the only bad thing I can say about them. Esp. if you are probably going to dump these into another block set (our ultimate plan) this really doesn't matter too much.Other than that, these are great blocks for all reasons noted: great quality wood, smooth finish throughout, flat level ends, wonderfully whimsical shapes, good value.Overall we're very happy with 'em.Special credit for the shapes having an overall magic, exotic quality about them vs. traditional block sets.Interestingly, made in Russia.

Superb quality worth my money.I was looking for educational wooden blocks for kids recently. I lost count how many I sorted out that were from China. I wanted to buy wood blocks to make stacking shapes for 3 years and 5 years old girls. I don't trust the paint they used is free from chemicals. Also, some looked rough made. Splinters could the problem.I am glad that I stumbled on this one. I am busy everyday with routine. This Aladdin toy keeps them involved in learning.They played a few hours making different structures. Mom look what we built. Was the happiest moment for us seeing them playing.Quality is amazing the finish surface is well polished. Craftsmen job is great plus I like the crate to store the set for my children.I will buy it for my friend as Christmas gifts for kids as well.

Amazing quality! My toddler creates so many things with it. Sometimes it becomes icecream sometimes castle. She plays with it hours at a time. Everyday. It’s beautiful. Feels very smooth to the touch. Heavy. Very nice. Highly recommend!!

These are seriously the BEST wood blocks I’ve ever seen!!!! They are absolutely amazing! They are beautifully crafted and are large pieces with so much more artistry then other blocks- our family is sort of block crazy - we have tons of blocks and love to build big elaborate cities etc and these blocks put all our other ones to shame! You will love these! Buy them and be as happy as we are - lol they also come in a high quality equally beautiful wood box! Heirloom quality for sure! Wonderful! blocks!

I love this so much even more than my kids probably. So wonderful and satisfying to play with. My kids play together and grow in confidence when they see the beautiful cities they create. Also goes very well with our wooden train track set. One tower block has had its edge chipped but otherwise the other blocks are pretty durable. Highly recommend it!

The blocks are not sized in fractions or multiples of a shared unit, along all axes. This leads to a lot of unsatisfying trial and error during construction. Interlocking brickwork is generally impossible without leaving gaps. These are not unit blocks.On the bright side, the blocks are fairly well made. They have flat bases and stack very well. The special pieces are a fairly unique feature.I ultimately decided to return the blocks.

These are so well made. We all love playing with them. Definitely a better quality than any Chinese made products. There was actual craftsmen artisan effort put into these blocks. They make a great gift.

Large group of smooth blocks. I am enjoying as much as my boys. Really impressed with the quality.

Great starter block set at a great price. All the pieces are big for my 2yo toddler and stacks very well. These come with a lot of pieces and the blocks have good variety. I like that the blocks are light so my toddler can handle them well, and the wooden crate that it comes in is beautiful. There is an assembly guide which helps a lot with putting the blocks back in the crate, and there are also structures included in the guide for ideas. My toddler plays for hours with it, coming up with different structures every time. Highly recommend this set!

アラジンのお城というコンセプトが素敵。一つ一つのパーツの形が美しく、見本を見ながら組み立ててそれらしい作品が出来上がった時には大人も達成感があります。素朴な積み木もいいけれど、こういうユニークなデザインのものはおいてあるだけでも嬉しくなりますね。子供はまだ２歳なので、親が組み立てたお城を増設・改築したり人形やミニカーを住まわせたりして自由に遊んでいます。
