PlayaPup Dog Sun Shirt, USA Made (UPF 50+), Lago, 4X-Large

I purchased this little X-small pink t shirt for my little 4 lb Chihuahua Maltese cross and it fits perfectly. My little Maia is a rescue dog who came into my home completely shaved by the SPCA due to severe matting issues since her previous owners did not seem to understand the grooming requirements involved in owning a dog of this breed with the long silky fur. To prevent sunburn while Maia's fur grew back, I used this little t shirt which did the job perfectly. The t shirt can also be used on cooler spring or fall days too, since my little Maia's silky fur isn't terribly warm either. The dog appears to be quite happy to wear the t shirt, so obviously it is quite comfortable and it is quite a cute pink color, quite attractive overall. As well as looking good, the t shirt does appear to be well made, so I anticipate lots of future wear. So, yes, I would recommend this t shirt for anyone concerned about their dog who may require some protection from the sun, or even some help getting over a bad hair cut like my little Maia went through.

Fits our pup nicely. She loves wearing it out in the sun, keeps her from breaking out.

I bought this sunshirt for my sun-loving, white dog. It fits her well, covers her chest, belly, and back. I got her a 2xl, and though it's a little large around the neck, it does its job.

Adorable shirt. Ordered the small. Tiki is a 9 pound maltipoo. The shirt is a little big on her, but she seems comfortable and it does the job. Perfect for hanging by the pool, running the beach or splashing around!

I'm so glad they have something to assist my pup in keeping cool! She's an all-black wire hair terrier mix. The material is great, just like a swimsuit, breathable, light-weight. I measured my pup as instructed but the measurements didn't measure up to the choices given in order to fit the size ranges given so I had to decide which area I would skimp on, neck, torso, or back. I wouldn't want the neck to be too tight, I wouldn't want the torso to be too tight, so I skimped on the back, which is unfortunate as that is the area that will get the most exposure. The length is just ok not optimal, the neck is way big, and the torso fits well. All-in-all it is a great idea and I would recommend others give it a try, just be sure to measure, don't eyeball it.

My dog is almost all black so this works great! Fits very well and is well made.

I ordered this shirt for our 11 1/2 year old weim/lab mix (82 lbs, got a size 2XL), Cash, to wear at an upcoming "Pooch Plunge" at our local community pool. Cash hates water and won't swim (his lab sister LOVES swimming), but will sit in the shade and get loved on by all the teenage lifeguards. I figured Cash might as well look extra cute while doing it! And boy does he ever look adorable! The fit of the shirt is great, it's very soft and stretchy. The next and arms don't bind like a lot of dog shirts and he refuses to let me take it off! I've tried several times now and each time, he wedges himself between my legs and won't budge (he's a stubborn old guy!). I'll be ordering in more colors/patterns since Cash loves it and it seems to work to keep him calm & happier.

I purchased this in M for my 12" long /approx. 10lb Chiweenie. It is a few inches short on her long body, but otherwise it fits nicely around her body. The material is nice, but it can catch on things like her big sister's doggy nails when they are rough-housing (she is feisty as the other pup is around 45lbs). It is good when it gets wet, much like a human rash-guard. As her chest is lower down and close to the ground, it helps protect from prickles at the local park - they don't use pesticides, so there are lots of weeds that can scratch my feet and her little tum. The sleeves are a good size and length for little dogs with short forelegs can usually pull their limbs inside clothing with wide arm slots and walk out the neck. The neck itself fits perfectly and has been stitched to a double layer of material. It is quick dry and also the type of shirt recommended after surgery if you have a dog that is insistent on licking their wounds. It wouldn't work on this dog though as it only covers half of her belly and her spay stitches would be exposed (as such, she can look forward to the big, goofy V-collar).

Nice product. Unfortunately size ran too small for my large Great Dane. But nice quality !
