where do i start enitially i bought this to raid some m.2's together for some super fast computing raid did not work for me at all and i dont think the m.2/s were to blame since they were samsung970 pros so ... the bios was absolutely childish i just want simple lists and tabs not these silly extra boost extra gaming or what ever the hell the things were a part from those things it should be fine for anyone gaming or whatever just doesnt seem like a pro product regretted buying it which is why i am trying to return it unlike the compatition you need to take off the heat sinks on the board to install and unstall the m.2's which is you are going to be using m.2 drives regularly which we all will be since theyre becoming more affordable that becomes a major issue i mean one main o.s drive is fine but not having all of them like that other boards have some pretty nice little gadgets to make m.2's more accessable the board has plenty of fan headers so you'll be good for coolign never really got to use the m.2 add in card bnut i asume that works ok again if you cant raid in bios properly i doubt that would do much but ... as to support i tried contacting msi on social media and by email had no response and looking at comments im guessing its the same for all the companies but i dont think the other ones would have such simply fixed pproblems because theyd have better bioses !

HiIt arrived and the box containing the board looked quite battered. Opened it up and looked like it hadnt been used.Using a Ryzen 2990WX processorInstalled and BIOS shows no CPU temps. I loaded Ubuntu where I can see all the temps fine from the CPU - so this looks like a motherboard problem. MSI said to return but its really annoying thing to do - as have to take out all the components and CPU to do that. Dont want to damage CPU as its quite expensive while I wait for another motherboard.

Mi sono deciso solo ora a recensire questa scheda perché sono stanco di leggere inesattezze che la riguardano. Non c'è nessun problema ad installare Windows 10/11 da zero, dato che è presente nel BIOS l'opzione per disattivare il WiFi. La scheda in questione è dotata di BIOS flashback, quindi, giusto per essere sicuri, basta utilizzare una chiavetta USB ed un alimentatore per aggiornare all'ultima versione disponibile che, fra le altre cose, implementa il Resizebar per pilotare direttamente la Ram delle GPU da CPU, considerando che questa scheda è del 2019, quando ancora la funzione Resizebar non la supportavano neppure le schede di Nvidia. Concludo con una sezione di alimentazione che fa "Volare" i Threadripper, nel mio caso un 2950x, con ben 600w erogabili al socket.

And unlike me.. do not forget to change your cooling solution. It is a very expensive product and has a lot of things I will probably bever use. The extra PCIe card for NVME SSDs is just awesome. I guess I will never buy a motherboard again because this was just too expensive. Do a biosupdate that is very important. (edit: I cannot stress enough how important that is, especially for past 1st gen) Overall it is a very versatile board for either people who like to show off.. or real hardcore workstations. Especially that SSD card with active cooling allows you to use your SSDs at high efficiency, cause if used long time on max they get really hot. Oh and I can really recommend to get a big case... I upgraded as evident on the pictures to a Obsidian 1000D when I updated to 2080Ti and more space really benefits the good looks.

Hatte mir dieses Board geholt weil mein anderer auch von Msi mit TR4 Sockel, habe beim Kühler Wechsel das Board beschädigt, so kahm ich auf dieses Board Macht einen super Eindruck sowohl auch in der Funktionalität.
