Frustrating experience, but I liked it once I finally got it applied
I found trying to use this product frustrating for a few reasons and was prepared to not like it and give it a negative review. I had used a similar "stem cell" product with the syringe once before, so I thought I was prepared for the experience.First, I didn't like how the metal piece was left hanging and jagged on the bottle after removing the white cap. But not too big of a deal, so I moved on to trying to fill the syringe from the bottle - except nothing was coming out of the bottle. Like I said, I had done this before, so I knew what to expect - or so I thought. I finally realized that there was no hole for the syringe to go through to get to the liquid - it was just pushing against it. So I found a metal skewer in my kitchen drawer and pierced it with that, and I was finally able to fill the syringe and apply it to my face. The instructions say to "keep the injector in the bottle." So... store it like that? That's very awkward and I don't have anywhere to put the bottle with the syringe hanging out the top. So I took the syringe out and put the cap back on (very loosely, as it doesn't snap back on once it's been removed) and put everything back in the box. There's also an extra piece, like a bottle top or applicator tip, that I don't see mentioned and can't figure out what it's for.So, like I said, after all that I was prepared for the negative review. Except, I felt a nice tightening feeling on my face that I didn't expect, and then later when I washed my face it felt very soft. It is free of fragrance and did not irritate my skin. So, with all that in mind, I decided to just deduct one star for the frustration and cntinue to use the serum after all.One additional note - on the front of the box it says "convenient to carry and use" which it definitely is not. I wouldn't want to try to bring this with me while traveling, either for the day or a week.

Very Frustrating Packaging, Watery Serum
The product is trying to be fancy and medical looking but it’s really just a watery plant serum in complicated packaging. I read and followed the directions and it was still a pain to open and access the serum. I heard the ‘pop’ noise on both bottles and tried both methods to extract some serum and nothing worked. The plunger broke apart twice in the tubing, so I wiggled/forced it back together and tried again to no avail. The only thing that worked was taking a small screw driver to the bottle and piercing it more, then the plunger finally pulled some serum. The dropper cap still won’t work, even after this.As soon as I applied the drops they started to run down my face, it was so thin and watery. I didn’t know how far this would spread initially so I pulled ¾ of a plunger, and because I was annoyed and didn’t want to do it twice. This is way too much, so rather than waste it I reapplied it a second time heavily to my skin. The second application made my skin feel tacky for a while. Eventually it dried and was absorbed, but my skin only feels mildly hydrated and some parts still feel too dry.Definitely not a fan of this experience, and with so many other products I may just throw this one away, which is a bummer because I was really looking forward to it when I ordered it. Especially the part about being beneficial for microneedling. I would not use this for that now.

Seems to work fine, but it's a frustrating experience to get started.
Comes in a box with 2 bottles, each bottle containing 1 ounce of serum. There's also a syringe and whatnot. The process for opening and using this product is needlessly complicated. I had to really work at it to get the metal of the cap off, and fitting the dropper cap thing onto the bottle afterwards was annoying at best... I'm docking stars mostly over these points of frustration, in all honesty. As for how effective the actual product is... It's hard to say. It's effective as a moisturizer. That much I can tell... But products that reduce fine lines and wrinkles never seem to produce those results for me even though I barely have anything of the sort, so I'm not expecting this one to give me those results either. I'll update this review later if it surprises me.As I sit here writing this review, it just occurred to me I never really noticed any smell when applying it. I'm sure it has a smell when still in the bottle, but I guess you really just don't notice it unless you've got your nose up to it.At the price of $19.99 (at time of review) for 2 ounces, I suppose it's a good value for the money. Assuming it works as advertised... You'll find plenty of less frustrating products that do the same thing, however.

An essence that claims to do it all
This product does have a learning curve for some to figure out the bottle itself. Us, medical professionals, have seen vials just like this. When you pop the plastic cap and remove all of the metal, you’re able to remove the stopper easily. This vial comes with a syringe-like apparatus, and then a plastic nozzle top. The syringe itself does not fit into the vial. So you have to carefully fill this syringe. I like that you can also use the plastic nozzle top as a lid to save your essence for further use. The essence itself is clear, slightly gel-like, and is unscented. It dries quickly and does not have the tacky feeling that some essences have. As far as effectiveness, I have not seen improvement since using for about a month. I know some products need more time. My skin does feel soft but I am not sure that it is this product alone. I do use this in conjunction with micro-needling. It does have a long shelf life with the expiration on the box in 2028. Once opened, I would use much quicker. Overall, an okay product. I don’t know that I would purchase again. I’m not sure it’s the best value for you money.
