Fantastic movies and both 4K and blue ray disc have good quality and upon arrival the discs were in good condition.

PLAYS ON MY U.S. PANASONIC DP-UB420-K 4K PLAYERNOTE 1: I have not watched any of these all the way through. I tested the menus, movies, extras, etc. on my Panasonic and saw no issues.I got this version because, A. blu-ray is the way to go for these films and, B. the description and the reviews seemed the most comforting regarding U.S. Region 1. This is my primary reason for paying it forward with this review.NOTE 2: If you haven't heard already, "Dead Men Tell no Tales" is titled "Salazar's Revenge" outside of the U.S... including on this box set.Through all my research, I believe this is the best way to watch all 5. With the exception of the 5th film, any 4K versions you can find to date will have been ruined by overprocessing. This includes Disney+. Research reviews on Hi-Def Digest, blu-ray.com, avsforum, etc. Many call the 4K versions of 1-4 the worst yet... surpassing Terminator 2.Even streaming through an Apple TV 4K will not offer the bitrate of these physical blu-ray discs.And even with 5 (Dead Men Tell no Tales / Salazar's Revenge,) the video may be a little better than the blu-ray, but the Atmos track on the 4K disc and Disney+ is said to be not as punchy or dynamic as the DTS-HD Master Audio track that's already on the blu-ray; this according to blu-ray.com and avsforum. However, if you have height speakers, the Atmos track on the 4K disc of this film is said to still be excellent and make good use of them.Also to date, you won't find a box set like this on any standard U.S. store shelves. Makes a great gift!Cheers

Works on American 4k players.

Loved the packaging. Having the discs in separate cases and being stored in a sturdy box is a plus. If you live the franchise, you will enjoy this set. Plus: the 4K discs played the first time without skips, freezes or other glitches.

Pirates of the Caribbean are good movies, hours of entertainment and fun

I bought a 4k oled uhd TV for Christmas. I also bought a new 4k uhd Blu-ray player to go with the new TV and a new 7.2 surround sound AVR to complete the package. This 4k uhd blu-ray set allowed me to see and hear the upgrade difference. Twice the resolution of HD is amazing. The improvement of 7.2 audio over 5.1 audio is not nearly as dramatic. It is noticeable but it is subtle. Disney always does a good job with its movies. A well mastered movie makes it easy to see what a good TV can do. A 4k uhd oled TV is still the best TV that you can buy.
