Volume Two of an Excellent Reference Series
This is a very good companion to Volume One. There is no text here. This book, like it's sister Volume One, is an excellent collection of schematics for all sorts of guitar amplifiers, beginning with manufacturer names starting with "G" and running to the end of the alphabet. If you bought Volume One, you only got as far as Fender and the "F's," so you'll need Volume Two to get the Marshall schematics and so forth! As far as I can tell, though admittedly inexperienced in all things tube-amp, this would seem to be a very, very good collection of schematic diagrams. Some of them are even hand-drawn out rather than professionally drafted, but all are legible and very useable. If you need schematics, this book and the first one are excellent resources.

Disappointing
13 or 14 pages for Marshall amps, like 120 for Gibson amps, about 40 pages for a couple of others that certainly don't comman more than Marshall. I'm mean the quality is pretty good but someone needs to review the content......

Largely very good.
A wealth of information but on the one schematic I was after (AC15) it is impossible to read the values of the resistors and caps. The AC30 twin reverb schematic you find a few pages further on is super clear, and the AC15 very unclear. Shame.

Nichts Neues
Ganz brauchbare Schaltungssammlung, allerdings nichts dabei was nicht im Netz einfach auffindbar wäre. Daher eher entäuschend um den doch stolzen Preis

Not a bible
No Mesa Boogie Mark IV and V, no Rectifier, no Soldano SLO, no Bogner Ecstasy... This is a good book, but not a bible. You'll find here amps mostly made before 1985. Nothing more.
