BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner

I was skeptical at first because of the price, but BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner completely blew me away. After using it in my 2015 Honda Accord with around 90k miles, the results were almost immediate. The engine started running smoother, acceleration felt more responsive, and even my fuel economy improved slightly—about 1-2 mpg better than before.What I really appreciate is how easy it is to use. Just pour it into a nearly empty gas tank and fill up with fuel. That’s it! No special tools or mechanical skills needed. I used it right before a road trip and could feel the difference on the highway—no hesitation, cleaner idling, and just a better overall driving experience.I’ve used other fuel system cleaners in the past, but nothing has made a difference like this one. Used it on my Suzuki Bandit 1250 to keep the injectors, clean and from having any gum problems. It actually improved the idol and smooth operation after treating two gas tanks.

Here's my experience from using this for the better part of 10 years.I've used this in the following vehicles with the following engines and the following mileage:2007 Toyota Tacoma 4.0l 1GR-FE V6 97,500 miles1998 Honda Civic DX 1.6l D16Y7 I4 178,000 miles2014 Lexus IS250 F-Sport 2.5l 4GR-FSE V6 87,000 miles2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R 0.6l I4 9,800 miles2014 KTM RC-8R 1.2L V-Twin 7,300 milesThis product does exactly what it states it will do. It will brute-force clean a complete fuel-injection system tank to injector. Nothing else I've tried generates such drastic changes at such a rapid pace. With that being said, there are two caveats that should be noted with this:1. This product should not be used with any carburetor in any capacity, whether that be in a power equipment role (chainsaw, lawnmower, generator) or an older vehicle that utilizes a carburetor and associated manifold. This product is incredibly aggressive and will chemically attack any soft rubber that's not designed to deal with modern ethanol-based fuels.2. I do not recommend running this more than once every two years unless the local fuel quality is so severe that it necessitates more frequent use. This product really needs some relatively significant varnish and/or contaminant buildup to have something to target.With that being said, I've never had any issues with catalytic converter or oxygen sensor error codes when using once every two years.So... Do I recommend this? Absolutely. No question about it. So long as it's used bi-annually, it's perfect.

I usually add this to my tank when it’s 1/2 full once a year. I then drive the vehicle and let the product sit in the lines and valves overnight, I do this until it’s time to fill up. Having a digital tach I can feel how smooth the car is running and the RPM’s fluctuates 8-10 rpm. I also add Techtron and Seaford inbetween BK44 treatments every 10k. Got 400k plus out of my last truck before it was time for a new one doing this. Works for me and hopefully it works for you too.

Great overall cleaner . Highly recommend this to help keep your vehicles fuel system in top shape. Especially if your vehicle has a GDI engine. GDI engines have a great tendency to be a bit unforgiving when they are not maintained (speaking from experience here) and can become sluggish, rough idling and poor MPG . BG 44K may be a bit on the pricey side, but this is one of the few that actually works very well. For the deepest cleaning for vehicles that are already having issues as I stated, I suggest pouring this in your tank at about 1/4 of a tank and take a ride for at least 30 miles with some intermittent HEAVY acceleration and Highway speeds of 50-65 mph. If you keep this in your rotation regiment with a proper oil change, you will avoid all that for many miles to come. BG is a very reputable company, and all of their additives are top notch. You get what you pay for with BG.
