Fun! Get metal skewers!
It looks a little contrived, like it would be fussy. But it's not! Super easy to use, sturdy, and doesn't skip a beat. It does what it's supposed to do virtually effortlessly. I do my potatoes in the air fryer, and they're just wonderful and well received.Pro Tip: Get metal skewers. The only fussy part comes after you have removed the potato from the machine. You have to spread all of the slices out evenly. The grain in wood skewers hampers you a bit. Metal is just more slippery and it's easier to fan out the potato.Not sure I ever read the directions, or if it even came with any, but I throw the whole thing on the top rack of the dishwasher. Cleans up perfect.

Best price AND best quality slicer. No joke
By far the best tornado slicer in this category. The Best part is the simplicity. All other machines are sheet medal and this is like a coated steel and strong. Price is so cheap it’s good to keep two around. I never write reviews but I bought the other manual one and this night and day.
