NX-VC100S 100-Watt; Dual Mode Sliding Audiophile Volume Control

I have about 15 of these in my house. They work as advertised. The biggest problem is that they use transformers to handle the impedance matching and they take a lot of rooom. They will totally fill up a standard single gang box. If you are planning ahead, use the deep boxes or go with a ring so you can use all the room in the wall. The slider isn't a full slider, it clicks for each level. I haven't counted but approx 10 levels. But it is very nice to have some control over volume in each room.
