This keyboard is a superior substitute for the standard Apple wired model. The keys are not only large-type and legible white-on-black, the touch is perfect - no sticking or slow response - typos are near impossible. This was the perfect solution to a temporary vision problem, but we won't stop using it. There is a bar behind the keyboard that does allow it to slant on a flat surface - something the picture doesn't indicate. Also, the sound volume and screen brightness keys are not in the usual (Apple) place, they're directly above the number keys (F10-12) and (F1-2). After figuring that out, we find this keyboard better than any we've ever used (Apple users since 1980)!

it was not is pictured in the sellers offer. it is a nice key board bit without the same functionality as an apple keyboard. the image made it seem like it was the same as a apple keyboard with large print but what I received was a clunky windows based keyboard with large print. i returned it immediately.

Exactly what I was hoping for, and more. When you pay $95 for a keyboard, you have to have a good reason, and my eyesight is that reason. The key letters are highly visible bold white on black, and I can finally see the letters. Key touch is just like the Apple Extended keyboard, which I always liked best. Keyboard layout is familiar standard Mac keyboard layout. Construction of the base is attractively crafted metal, probably steel, and heavy enough to not slidfe around on the work surface. Best keybard I ever owned (I tried a lot of them) and a great Christmas present.

After buying three cheaper, clunky plastic keyboards that wore out or broke down in some way after only a year each, I finally found a MAC-compatible large-type keyboard that's build the way Apple might have, like a tank. Works great, nice mechanicals, well built, slim profile, feels like it should last forever. I hesitated over the price but now absolutely no regrets. UPDATE: Spring 2013-no problems, love it.

I really wanted to love this keyboard. It was such a nice departure from the normal Apple keyboards. However the first one I received was bent, the second one the spacebar wouldn't register every time I pressed it. The company is very responsive though and I really feel the first keyboard was the shipping company's fault, and the second one was just a fluke. So give it a try!

I have been unable to have cataract surgery for over a year now. The surgery is further delayed by the pandemic. I'm a "touch" typist, but sometimes I need to see the dang keyboard, and I could no longer make out the letters, numbers and symbols on my trusty Apple keyboard. It took a few days to get used to the slightly different feel of this keyboard, but now that I have, I love it. I like it's sensitivity.. The large white letters on black keys are so easy to read! Logic just makes great keyboards. I didn't bother with cheaper brands. I didn't want the letters wearing off, and I don't think these will. My only complaint is that it does not have the tilt that I'm accustomed to. An easy fix, though. You can buy keyboard tilts, or as in my case, just find something stable to put underneath that gives you the tilt you want.

The keyboard just arrived today and I can use it without my glasses (which don't help much as I have macular degeneration in both eyes.) The action of the keys is smooth and the layout is identical to my old Mac keyboard. The keyboard is heavy and well-made. It doesn't have the aesthetic of the original but I can see they keys! I know it's expensive but you get what you pay for. I tried a cheaper keyboard before this one and had to send it back. I am very happy. It even comes with a small light which plugs into a usb port on either side. Bonus!
