Really Works! Feeling Fantastic!
I REALLY love this!! I am 5ā11 and was really uncomfortable with my height for most of my life. Now that Iām an adult and happy with it, I find that I am so used to trying to slouch to be smaller that it is not comfortable for me to stand up straight and look and feel nice. I have been using this for two days and like others have said, it is great for reminding you to stand up straight/stay straight while sitting to the point where it is normal to be straight-backed! Some have said it is uncomfortable - that is the whole point - you have to be uncomfortable when you are slouching, otherwise your posture wouldnāt be affected if it was still comfortable to be slouching. I really enjoy wearing this and didnāt feel pain following the first day - I actually felt better, but maybe it will hurt in the next couple of days or so as it seems to have for others. Regardless, this is a life-changing item at a stellar price! If you are looking for something relatively comfortable as well as self-adjustable, this is perfect. I highly suggest getting to wear during the fall and winter and spring season if you live in New England, as it can easily be worn under sweaters, cardigans or coats. I havenāt tried it against bare skin nor do I intend to, so no word on how comfy that would be.

Fairly easy to use, comfortable once on and adjusted
I purchased this product since my neck has been tight for quite some time now, and it is exacerbated from sitting at a computer for long stretches of time. I noticed that when I spend less time sitting my pain/stiffness is reduced, so I surmised that sitting is the culprit, and further assumed that my posture is making things even worse.I have no frame of reference since I didn't even know such products existed until this product came up during a search for something else. The price was right so I decided to give it a shot.It is easy to use (just put it on like a backpack) but sometimes the straps get twisted, which is difficult to rectify once your arms are through the loops. It is fairly comfortable, but I have been wearing it over a t-shirt. If you wear it over a tank top or sleeveless shirt it might possibly be less comfortable, but there are soft pads for underarms. It seems to do what it is designed to, it helps me maintain correct posture - if I start to slouch it "reminds" me to correct my posture since the straps tend to restrict movement. I've only had for about a week and have no observation on long term benefits, but so far so good!

Awkward and slightly uncomfortable but effective
Note: I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome with lots of hypermobility) which partly influences my joint movement. Maybe this is a better product for people who do not have hypermobile joints. I got this to help with posture, and also in hopes that it could act as a brace for my shoulders. With regular wear, this can help posture as advertised and help with associated pain or discomfort a bit. However, I found it bulky and uncomfortable to wear and put on. I am more on the narrow side, and I have to pull the straps tight all the way, and it still doesn't quite keep me upright, and though the brace is a good physical reminder, it's still easy to slouch. Not a lot of support in my experience. When pulled to the tightest degree due to being smaller-boned, the straps become bulky also fold over one another uncomfortably up in my armpits. There is a padded sleeve to go over the straps that helps, but I found only partiall effective. Putting it on or taking it off was tricky when my shoulder joints were in pain, which is when I needed help with posture the most. It's not a horrible product, but these feel like important considerations as well. Definitely not a brace as I'd hoped it could be McGuyver'd for.

This works as described.
I need to have both my shoulders replaced. The right needs a total reverse shoulder and the left a regular shoulder replacement.Iāve been suffering with RA and Osteo Arthritis, along with osteoporosis disease.Iāve been nothing a continual curse in my posture and I canāt stand to see my own reflection in the mirror, as itās gotten so pronounced. I pick up my granddaughter now eighteen months old, and go look in the mirror together. Wow, this game has really shown me how much I have deteriorated over her short lifetime.I knew that I needed to act and worried about going in to doctors offices and specialist to find a brace for me during this pandemic, but I had been looking at the braces on Amazon so much that Iām offered a few in my stream of items. I read the reviews and compared costs and decided to go with this one.Iād been wearing it a couple of weeks when I had a doctors appointment, so I took it along to ask my doc what he thought of this simple device. He helped me put it on and adjusted the straps for me. I think he could see the instant change in my posture and he said, itās a feedback type, which isnāt the same as feedback here. He said, it corrects you based on the feedback from your body, when you begin to hunch it reminds your body to straighten up. Itās quite a simple notion and design. Itās easy enough for me to put on without any assistance, and with the conditions of my shoulders thatās saying a lotI also have developed scoliosis and the curvature of my spine causes it to feel off a bit, based on shoulder to shoulder.Iām going to recommend this product to anyone who asks me about getting a brace. I do not believe that spending more on any of the braces shown here with the same type of brace. Example the design, ease of use, set up, similar parts, basically the same thing as this is, and works similar to this one. By that Iām saying why spend up to $99. For the same design as $9.+. I believe mine was $10.50, and I feel itās worth every Penny of that. Had I spent the hundred dollars, I know Iād be disappointed. I probably would have returned it at that price point. Thinking youāre not paying that amount for a strap.Anyway, to sum it up. Yes, I recommend this brace at this pricing. Depending of which one speaks to you. Spend what youāre comfortable with, but keep it within a reasonable amount because itās appleās to apples.Iām glad Iāve got mine and for example I was cleaning yesterday and, I didnāt have it on and, I missed it. Thinking, Iām going to run upstairs and get it, was my thought.Iām a 63 year of age lady, soon to be 64ā next month. Iām 5ā tall down from 5ā4ā in the last decade. I weigh about 110 lbs. I say this to give you enough physical info because I think if youāre bigger it will still fit and be fine for you, as there is a lot of strap to tighten up or loosen up.Now for the bad news. It can feel right in your arm pit and even hurt if itās too tight, use the pads included if you need to and donāt lose them, as Iāve lost one of my set of two. So keep them handy for the days youāre feeling the pain and wish you had them.Oh, I can tell you I wear it most of the day when Iām at home. I didnāt go for the scheduled build up to a full day. I donāt think it bothered me as it does others, but staying off the safe side, you might want to start with an hour or how ever many hours youāre able to. For me, I wanted the image in the mirror to be standing up straight the next time I brought my granddaughter to the mirror.Hope this review is helpful in making your own decision.Cindy
