Hercules Stands Deluxe Velvet Peg for Flute/Clarinet - French Or German

I picked up a couple of these Hercules pegs. They work really well with my soprano Saxophone and clarinet. They are well made and will give me years of quality use.

This DS602B threads into my Hercules Saxophone stand easily by hand. It has a nut at the threads to tighten it to the stand with a wrench, but I don't find it necessary. I use it at gigs and add it to the stand when I'm setting up, and remove it when I fold the stand for storage (it doesn't fold up with the stand). I have no complaints with its functionality. Its diameter fits the inside of my flute perfectly and the felt coating is a nice touch. The stand is well constructed, however I haven't determined the reason for the spring action (the upper head pushes downward and returns to its height by an internal spring). If I had to criticize it at all I would say that it is over engineered. A simple felt peg would suffice my need for a flute stand. It is also sold as a stand for other instruments so some of its features may be adapted for those. It is a good tool and I'd purchase it again.

Good product but it really pisses me off that Hercules doesn’t sell the clarinet/flute stand the original sax stand came with. I lost the original and this was the only choice. Oh well, marketing I guess.

I know this peg was designed for Clarinets and Flutes, but I bought this for my newly acquired Sopranino Sax to see how it would work. I already own the Alto/Tenor stand with a Soprano peg and thought it would be really nice if I could put all 3 saxophones on one stand. Turns out, the Sopranino DOES fit on this peg. It does wobble a little bit but I have 100% confidence that the Sopranino will not fall off this peg if bumped or moved. Pushing the Sopranino down a bit harder provides an even stronger hold. It will only come off the peg unless deliberately picked up. (This is mostly due to the long spring-loaded portion not being pushed down at all and provides a long enough support to hold it) I'm currently exploring DIY alterations to this peg to make the fit tighter, but right out of the gate, this peg 100% works for Sopranino Saxophones. I know only like 5 people in the world have Sopranino Saxophones, but it's nice to know this peg works for this niche instrument too. (I hope the rare Sopranino Sax player sees this)

Fits my Hercules alto sax stand. Just screens into the top of either leg, right or left side. I have two and use one for a Bb clarinet and one for my C flute. The instruments fit on it very well. The stand is flocked to protect the instruments, has a spring that offers give if you don't have an exact line up when you go to use the stand and is long enough to sit deeply enough inside the instruments that you don't have to worry about them getting knocked off.

The Hercules Velvet peg does what it was intended for, hold the clarinet onto the clarinet stand as an accessory. The brand Hercules is an outstanding piece of equipment and holds up to abuse for many years. I would highly recommend this peg.

クラリネット×２＋ピッコロのスタンドを購入しましたが、ピッコロが不要でもう一本クラリネットが立てたいので購入しました。装着しますと最初についていた２本と違い、バネ付きのスタンドになっていて、とても快適でした。ストンと立てるのと比べて、すごく安心感があります。大満足でした。最初からこのスタンドがついているものがあるともっと良いと思いました。

Bonjour, parfait pour protéger l'intérieur de l'instrument et pouvoir le reposer en douceur mais cependant rapidement si nécessaire. Stable, solide et bien fini. Très polyvalent, une fois qu'on a compris comment combiner les stands et les piques de cette marque !!! Voyez les exemples en photos. Cette pique pour flûte ou clarinette se visse sur les pieds de certains stands Hercules pour instruments à vent : - stand pour flute alto - stand pour sax - stand pour plusieurs flutes & clarinettes. Elle ne se visse PAS sur le trou central du stand pour flûte alto : ce n'est pas le même pas de vis pour la pique alto, qui est plus grande, et doit être en position centrale pour une question de stabilité. C'est un complément à votre stand principal donc. Il existe aussi un modèle de pique pour trompette, pareil, qui s'adapte sur les pieds avant et non sur l'axe central des stands.
