SmartSolve IT118698 Water-Soluble Dissolving Paper, 8.5" x 11", White (Pack of 10)

I used this paper to make travel soap sheets. It works great! You must "paint" the soap on quickly though (I used a large sponge brush to be quicker) and do not paint both sides immediately (unless you are SUPER quick. I wasn't) because it will begin to tear and dissolve. I learned that lesson quick enough. I also tried letting one side dry and then painted the other side. It worked on one sheet, but the second one began to tear. Remember that you must clean and dry your surface between each sheet otherwise you'll end up with a goopy mess. I also found that enough soap on one side is good enough and you really don't need to paint both sides. The sheets also dry better if only one side is painted. I love that I was able to use my favorite soap and not have to be at the mercy of someone else's favorite smells. I've been using these self made soap sheets regularly and must say the sheets don't disappear instantly, but rather it mushes up and eventually disappears/gets washed down the drain. It does degrade rather quickly after rubbing it in your hands long enough. I attribute it to the soap being on it though. Either way it works well for what I need it for and I will be buying it again.

This paper is fantastic! I use it for embroidery projects - just trace on with pen or pencil and then embroider right on top of. After I'm done I wet the fabric and the paper disappears​! So useful!

Ok I love this stuff. We used it to make logo soaps in our soap shop. Print the logos on paper and embed the paper in clear soap. The paper melts as you use the soap. Super easy and super impressive ;-)

This worked great at church where we used it to symbolize things in our lives we needed to surrender to God- the paper dissolved very quickly, and that was with 200 people putting the dissolvable paper they had written on (cut to 3x5 size) into three different bowls of water.

Worked perfectly. I bought it for my mom's ash scattering on the water. It dissolved within a seconds when it hit the water.

This is a great pack of dissolving paper. I use it to do origami and hide a small gift inside. The child receiving it drops it into water and presto - the paper rapidly disappears to reveal the surprise. There is no residue that I could see, or partially dissolved paper pieces. It's a good, clean vanishing paper.

This paper is SUPER THIN! You must treat it like its going to break but its amazing for making cool projects like my soaps I created using pics of my niece. Great purchase I have bought already again. THANK YOU !!!

I was struggling to find "biodegradable" paper that could be used with an ashscattering at sea. A friend suggested I consider "dissolving" paper. Thispaper fills the need.

I was hoping to use these as an aid to doing embroidery. They tear when pierced by the needle so were inappropriate for that use.They do completely disappear when splashed with water, it's really neat and would scare the crap out of a gullible friend.

Used it for embedding a picture in melt and pour soap. Followed the instructions but no matter what I do the paper does not fully dissolve in the soap by the time it hardens and the print is nice and crisp at first but by the time a week goes by the ink has bled and blurred so much the picture is unrecognizable. I've tried injet, I've tried laser, I've tried letting it dry for over a week and/or spraying it with hairspray. Nothing works. Cool idea but if you plan to use it in soap, be warned the soap design will be ruined in a week.

Great paper! I make paper soap with it and it holds up very well. Strong but dissolves well. Highly recommend!
