Fendrihan Porcelain Apothecary Shaving Mug, Hand-Painted Rim (Golden)

I do not store my shaving soap bar in the Fendrihan cup. I wet my brush sprinkle a few drops of water on shaving soap bar I keep in a separate stainless cup, mixing bush slightly to gather soap from the stainless cup then create nice lather in the Fendrihan cup. Yeah it’s a drawn out process. I like the way this moistens my facial stubble. Fendrihan is great. It’s handle is perfect. I would buy again.

Stock photos don’t do this Shaving Bowl justice. Well worth the money. The blue really stand out against the white porcelain. Understated, but dapper piece.

I find that shaving mugs that have smaller diameters on the bottom and a larger diameter (like a funnel) on the top produce a better lather than uni- dimensional (same diameter top to bottom) mugs.

Easy to hold with the nub instead of a handle. Gets a really good lather because of the way the sides taper into a wide opening. It also looks really nice on my bathroom counter.

Gosh this is nice quality looks good in the bathroom compared to my cheap one I had. Very nice and doesn’t break the bank.

I am not sure what to say, but it does the job. I think it looks smart, and unlike my using an old mug, no one, so far, has touched this. They know it is mine, and seem to be leaving it alone.

I like the old-style barber shave soap mugs but prefer the ergonomics of the shaving bowl. The hand-painted (gray) Fendrihan has both. It looks to be a quality product, a touch of class that makes it a welcome addition to my shaving kit compilation. Mine arrived in flawless condition, the small hole underneath the handle looks to be by design. The high gloss porcelain holds the heat well while not being too heavy. My shaving brush and stand fit nicely in the mug. The handle insures it won't slip out of wet hands. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Would recommend.
