Solid brush that works perfectly on suede and nubuck
It's a brush... it brushes. I really like how this has the brass bristles inset inside the nylon. This allows for sort of a dual use where light brushing can get the dirt and then a little more pressure engages the brass to bring the nap up if necessary. I've used this on my hard use work boots which are nubuck all the way down to my slippers which are some flavor of cheap suede and everything in between. Great brush, well made, worth the price.

Excellent Brush
Well made, sturdy brush, comfortable to hold. I used it on 4 pairs of nubuck boots and one pair nubuck sandals. When done, all nubuck looked like new and so did the brush. No wear on the latter, as has happened with cheaper brushes I’ve used. Also, the vendor shipped quickly. Highly recommend both seller and product.

Know what you are doing
I used this as directed, I think it worked but my jacket was vintage and it had not been worn in more than 60 years, (it was my grandmother's) there was a lot of stuff that came when I brushed it. I didn't want to continue doing it for fear of putting a hole in the suede. I have decided to take it to the cleaners.

Revives Pile, Removes Most Dirt, Refreshes Suede Shoes.
This brass-bristled suede brush from Saphir is 6 1/2 inches long and about 1 1/8 inches wide at the head. It features 2 rows (14 clusters) of brass bristles in the center, surrounded by a single row (19 clusters) of black plastic bristles. The plastic bristles are 3/4 inch long; the brass bristles are slightly shorter. The brass bristles are quite fine. The handle is made of varnished beech wood. I am female so have smaller hands than many people who will be using this brush, but I find it very comfortable in hand. The handle is shaped just right for holding and brushing with the right hand. It is not quite as comfortable in the left hand. The brush can be used to fluff the pile on suede shoes, which will remove most dust and dirt, as part of a daily routine before and after wearing. Brush vigorously. It won’t help much if the pile has become matted with some substance that will not brush off, however. In that case, washing might help. The brush can be used to re-fluff the pile after washing and drying to revive the pile before applying a conditioner or colorant and then again after the shoes have dried, to restore the original texture.
