I’ve been trying to get my ferritin level up as it was 13 and my doctor told me I needed to take iron 3x per week. I was able to get my ferritin up to 23 after consistently taking iron 3x per week for 2-3 months. I was having to take stool softeners every night though. 3 of them… I noticed a huge improvement in my mental health after just going up 10 points with my ferritin level and only taking iron 3x per week. I started looking into how to get it up faster and more efficiently without all of the side effects. I read about lactoferritin as well as adding 1-2 mg of copper daily. I am a huge believer in this product. I haven’t had to take my stool softeners every night like I was doing before. I have still been taking it every other day. I am not sure it’s needed though. I just like having 2-3 bowel movements per day. My stool is a lot darker in color which means this product is working as its intended. I would highly suggest that you do your own research to the benefits of adding lactoferritin to your daily regimen if you’re trying to get your iron or ferritin numbers up. Lactoferritin binds to the iron to help deliver it to where it’s needed. It then helps to excrete the excess out of your body (hence my darker stools) by binding tightly to the iron instead of it sitting in your colon or gut and causing constipation and feeding bad bacteria (they thrive on iron). I can say that after just a few days of adding this plus copper to my daily regimen, I feel SO MUCH better and have a lot more energy. I am really excited to have my ferritin and iron levels rechecked in 8-12 weeks and I am hopeful that, over time, I can get my ferritin between 50-100.

These seem like a good quality. I bought for my car with herpes and gingivitis on the recommendation of a vet. I give her a half a capsule a day and it mixes well with wet food. She doesn't even know it's in there. She's been on them a week and her eyes and gum lines are looking better already. I'd definitely talk to your vet before trying though.
