After a couple bladder blockages on our male cat and facing the chance of losing him and $$$$, we did some research. We found that the Urinary Rx foods were basically junk that included corn, gluten and chicken by-product meal with high carbs and low protein at a high price (Hills and Royal). This is something we wouldn't even feed to feral cats!! It's no wonder uninformed pet owners giving these crapy, over priced pet foods have cats with multiple problems. Cats need high protein more than dogs and and do not have the enzymes to utilize these carbs so their pancreas starts to break down. So, if we can't use urinary foods to avoid crystals and create an acidic environment in the bladder, what are the alternatives for a healthy cat with minimum Veterinary intervention. D-mannose is one good supplement that helps block crystal formation and acidify the bladder. We happily use it with our cats along with a good high protein cat food such as Orijen Fit and Trim (or blue buffalo Wt Control). Be sure to include lots of water in their day β they love a good cat fountain. Finally, keeping your male cat trim is essential for avoiding bladder blockages as is calm. We also use a squirt of Richard's Pet Calm 2x daily as our insurance with the D-mannose.

This is a secret weapon for curing your pups UTI's yourself. My boxer Ruby was prone to UTI's and the vet said it was pretty normal for her breed of female dog. At first we would go to the vet every-time and get the anti-biotics from them. They never offered any other solution. Just their pills. It was getting to the point where they then wanted to do a surgery on her. I hit the web to research this topic for myself and found out about D-Mannose on Earth Clinic. They have a whole section for pet health alternatives. This powder was a game changer. I literally stopped taking her to the vet because I could stop the UTI myself with this product. I HIGHLY recommend you do some research about this and bring it into your home.

I have a female kitty, who is a bit wild and it's near impossible to get her to the vet. Shes had a uti for a couple of days, so I looked for the most pure of all the dmamnosr for cats and decided upon this one. She's doing do much better, no repeated trips to the box and no dots of blood on floor. Thank God for this product! . I'm going to keep her on a maintenance dose forever, as she relapsed in two weeks. Excellent product, a bit too high priced, considering I'm going to use it regularly but definitely the finest on the market. Trust me, I researched this last summer but ended at vet. It took me weeks with all the brands.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!! My 13 pound, 10 yo female Miniature Schnauzer has been having UTI issues for about 2 years now without much success on antibiotics BUT THIS actually works!!!!! Yahoo!!!!! I put ΒΌ powder on a big spoon, use a 1ml oral syringe and fill the syringe with warm water. I place about 0.7ml of that water on the spoon and mix the powder and water in the spoon. Then I reload the oral syringe with the mixed solution from the spoon and give it to my dog in the side of her mouth. Works great!!

We recently adopted a rescue dog and she had a UTI. I wanted to try a product that was quality. From the reviews I read I decided to try this. I am glad I did. It worked.
