If you're the kind of person who knows what they're making for dinner a day ahead of time and plans accordingly then never mind, you won't get why the rest of us need this. If, however, you're like me and start to wonder what to make for dinner two hours before you plan on eating and you have to pull something out of the freezer pronto, this is an AMAZING find. This thawing tray works like magic, thawing meat, fish, or chicken out without the weird pre-cooking of defrosting food in the microwave. I use it at least 4 times a week, it was well worth the price.

I was skeptical at first, but surprised how well it worked!!! It does cut down defrosting time considerably and well made-quality product too. This is for you especially if you prefer defrosting the natural way and not into using the microwave or soaking in water. The cutting boards came in handy and contents were described accurately. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!

This actually does thaw frozen meat quicker than any other method I’ve found. The edges of this tray, however, are quite sharp where they’re cut in a zig zag fashion. While I’ve not yet cut myself, I feel the need to be careful as the edges seem risky.

This is a staple in our house. It actually works and is great for when you forget to take the meat out of the freezer. We keep the meat in its package and just put the meat upside down on it and it’s great

Does this thing thaw meat in 30 minutes? No. Does it help thaw meat faster? Yes. Its very helpful bringing down the thaw time, but don't expect miracles.

I had a defrosting tray that worked similarly, but lost it. When I told my husband how badly I needed it, he ordered this new one. It's sturdier and of better quality that the previous one, and this one can go in the dishwasher. Even if I get the other one back, I'll probably use this one instead.

I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of performance, but this actually works as advertised! A must-have for busy working families with multiple cooks or just the habitually forgetful!

This defrosting tray works, seems to be well-made, and is reasonably priced. It works slower than I had hoped, but I’m happy with this purchase. Part of the problem is just the nature of frozen food — it’s usually not frozen totally flat and therefore there isn’t much surface area touching the tray. I recommend thawing meat in water for a bit first until the surface area is soft.
