This sling was amazing as we got our boxer puppy at 8 weeks and obviously he couldn’t walk around outside before 11 weeks. Despite him being over the weight limit towards the end, he was quite happy and content in the sling and I had the collar safety system. If you have a smaller dog, there is the Velcro waist protector, but my puppy was too big by week 9 for that. I can honestly say that it was like having my baby in a sling. It’s a brilliant item and a must have if you get your puppy before 11 weeks and don’t want to leave them alone at home. Also no store turned me away as the dog was securely tucked away. Most of the time he slept whilst inside.

I bought this as I have a 13 year old Chihuahua who only weighs 2kg. He loves to be outside but has achy joints so he's not able to walk very far. This is an excellent carrier, it's comfy to wear, well made, and he absolutely loves going in it. I carry him for miles in it,you might struggle if your dog is larger but because he is so tiny I don't even notice the weight. There is a little clip inside that goes onto a collar, I don't use this as he's so happy in it he wouldn't try to jump out. He either curls up inside and goes to sleep or has his wee head out watching the world go by. Even when I get home and take the carrier off he stays in it.

It really is for a very small dog. Mine is a bichon weighing under 7kg. Most dogs will not want to be on their backs so you need to think how yours will sit/lie inside...positioning is key. The concept is good but difficult to execute unless the dog is very small. If your dog is larger the think how you are going to get them into the sling! Its not easy at all. The pictures unfortunately show pretty large dogs and that is not a fair representation

Recently purchased for my minature dachshund who cannot walk long distances at the moment. Whilst I don't have him suspended in it due to his long back, I find it useful to help take some of his weight from my arms, as I have back and neck issues when carrying him normally. It has worked perfectly for my needs .

I bought this sling for a 3kg chihuahua iv taken on to take to the vets as he's nervous of people so likes to be close to me. The sling itself is well made and is reversable, my boy fits in it OK but the sides could do with been a little higher. I'm plus size so the strap for me personally wasn't long enough as I'd like to have warn it like a cross bag but instead can only use it over my shoulder on its longest adjustment. That said it's a lovely quality material and Joe is happy been in it.

This is a good sling for a very small puppy. I bought it when my Miniature Schnauzer pup was 8 weeks. She's now 15 weeks, still needs carried on longer walks, so I still need it, but it no longer fits her. (she's not a big pup) really I'd have been better buying cheaper option given how long I could use it.Also worth bearing in mind pups overheat in warm weather, so you'd need to take them out and carry them to prevent that.
