Ab fab!
Brilliant read - yahya rhodus provides online course re: this book and he breaks the book into 12modules - it's a must read and the course is a fantastic breakdown re: spirituality and the heart for anyone - not just Muslims or well educated Muslims. For anybody of any faith - brilliant read.

Better edition available
This is an excellent book from Imam Ghazali's Ihya Ulum al-Din.this edition is a fine one, however there is a bi-lingual edition available which was the first published in 2005. It has the full text in Arabic with hadith referencing by Imam al-Iraqi. The english translation has been revised and a fuller account of hadith references has been included.The price is cheaper than the Vitae RRP, but may not be cheaper than the third party sellers.Still i think its worth considering, since it is still the only bi-lingual edition.
