NOTE: Update as of Nov 20, 2019 - From the photo, looks like company has changed carabiners from the nice aluminum ones. I would guess new ones are steel, and, therefore useless, but I do not know. I will ask in the question section. Also, the nice aluminum 'biners can probably now be bought for less than $5 apiece. Still a great deal, though.First look on unboxing: This is a NICE hammock! Nice, ripstop material, unheard of at this price ($19.99 when I bought it). Includes daisy-chain web straps instead of ropes and aluminum carabiners instead of heavy steel ones. Just know, though that, while the photo seems to show a separate stuff sack, it is actually attached, but it is a nice sack, made like a dry bag, so nice design! Also, the stitching and stitching terminations are solid.Separately, the straps would cost you about $10 for the pairThe nice aluminum carabiners are about $10 a pairSo you are basically getting a very nice ripstop hammock for free!UPDATE 1: I have hung the hammock but not slept in it yet, and I see nothing to change my mind as to the quality. Really nice fabric (see photo) and tripple-stitched. The stuff sack is, as I said, built like a dry bag and seems to have a waterproof coating inside. This is a super deal!!! More after I have slept in it.Update 2: Slept one night in the hammock, and still a fan!Update3: Might become my go-to hammock, but I just do not like the color. I don't understand why hammock mfrs insist on these bright colors. These are not beach hammocks, and that is the only place where these garish colors may be appropriate, IMO.NOTE TO SELLER: Because I am a big fan of this hammock at this price, I offer these suggestions:1. PLEASE offer some reasonable, woods-appropriate colors, like dark green, gray, brown, or black. Okay to offer the garish colors, but not as the only choice. Of course, if this was a close-out, you offer what you have, still ...2. Your hammock is an inch under 10 ft, by my measurement. Because of the width, this isn't a problem, but the hammock should be AT LEAST 10 ft, and 10.5 ft to 11.0 ft would be ideal, if you can go there without raising the price more than a few dollars.3. Since you make a quality hammock, unlike much that we find on Amazon, you should add to your lineup "single panel", 6 ft wide hammocks as soon as you can.

I thought of only giving this a 4-star rating because the pictures and description in the listing indicates the hammock is made of ripstop fabric and it isn't, but it's still made of quality material and well, this is just too good of a hammock to dock a star for that reason.Starting at the tree, I was surprised at the attention to detail with the tree straps. The stitching for the end loop and the daisy-chain loops are all well sewn. They are longer than most straps I've seen so you can span longer distances, and the webbing is heavy duty. It's hard to believe I was able to get the whole hammock/suspension system for less than I'd pay for just the straps if buying them made by a name brand that aren't any better made or of any higher quality. It's like I bought some good straps and got the hammock free.Moving to the hammock, the carabiners appear to be rather cheap, but still heavy enough to hold someone heavy like me. The continuous loops at the gathered ends aren't made of cheap nylon rope with a knot like other budget hammocks. Rather, this hammock has heavy duty webbed loops sewn very well. I wish I had gotten the rip-stop nylon material, but I've moved around in all kinds of positions in this hammock and it's not shown any weaknesses. All the seams are triple stitched to give strength where it's needed. The stuff sack is sewn to the side of the hammock which offers a place for my water bottle, keys, glasses, wallet, phone, and some snacks. The fabric of the hammock is roughly 10'-6" long and around 58" wide, which I've found to provide all the room I need and then some.Overall, this is the best deal I've seen for a travel hammock. The craftsmanship and materials are first class from end to end. I wish it was offered in more colors, but I like green so I'm happy. I'd highly recommend this product.

First off let me say I have done a lot of research into Hammock camping. A friend of mine and I are just getting into it after 30 years of backpacking/Tent camping. We both purchased expensive Hammocks. I was planning a Family car camping trip. I did not want to bring my expensive Hammock for obvious reasons, especially my 6 yr. old, So I researched an inexpensive one my Daughter will have after the trip. I have to tell you this one is a winner!It comes with Tree straps a must! (not rope) It uses a strap instead of rope threaded through the Hammock to to attach it to Tree Strap with the included Carabiner. This increases Load capacity and is found only on expensive hammocks. It is made of Ripstop Nylon very important, and comes with everything you need! I am very impressed! Its a Great Hammock and a Great Price. It worked like a champ!

I bought this hammock wanting one with diamond ripstop as they are softer and more durable. The close up pictures very clearly make it look like the hammock is made out of diamond ripstop material, but I was disappointed when it arrived and realized that it is normal parachute material like a lot of other hammocks.Nevertheless, it looks like a good hammock (especially for the price) and appears to be reinforced very well, I just wish it was the diamond ripstop that I thought I was going to get.

The hammock and straps were nice. The Carabiners that it came with do not look anything like the ones in the pictures above. After setting it up the first time, I concluded that it would have been nice to have a couple more heavy duty carabiners.

I think this is a great piece of Gear, I bought it for a YouTube Gear Review and we were able to load it up with a ton....well a half ton of weight. Compared to some of the leading retail brands its super cost effective and entirely comparable. Im getting 2 more for the kids!! Light weight, easy to put up, and very comfortable. It’s nice having a hammock that is easy to put up and take down. Fits 2 people comfortably.
