I’ve been really pleased with this purchase of dried grains and rice. The quality is excellent—clean, fresh, and cooks up perfectly every time. I like the variety in the mix, which adds texture and nutrition to my meals. It’s great for soups, stews, or as a side dish. One small downside is the packaging—it’s not resealable, so I had to transfer it to a storage container. But overall, the value is solid for the price. If you enjoy cooking with whole grains and want something shelf-stable and versatile, this is definitely worth trying.

Good price for a quality product. Got extra to stock up the pantry. I am a stickler for the expiration date and this product gave me plenty of time, unlike the Amazon brand which, if your lucky, gives you a month.

Good rice

It says extra long grain white rice, in reality it's more like medium with broken bits included. I mean, the price was good and I bought two bags but later on I bought some jasmine rice and the difference is obvious when placed side by side. The jasmine has longer grains and is plumper, while this rice looks like bits and bobs of the bottom of the barrel. The flavor is OK, it cooks up just fine whether you pre soak it or not. It's just not extra long grain as advertised, I've had this issue with several brands in the past with both white or brown versions. It won't be wasted, I can process it in the blender for rice flour to use in baking or making tofu.

I bought this rice specifically because it is lower on the Glycemic Index than most other rice on the market. Plus, the price is very good. Mahatma is very consistent in quality and I have never been disappointed in their products.

Very good, long grain, plain white rice, just as it should be.
