Goodbye Wyze, hello Tapo!
I’ll be writing this on all the Tapo cameras I’ve recently purchased. (4x C110, 2x C210, 2x C520WS)These are flawless, amazing, and so far ahead of Wyze it’s not even funny. They are massively affordable, truly need no subscription, have fantastic features in their app, can record locally to an SD card; everything you would want. Coming from Wyze (see more below), I didn’t know that cameras were supposed to act like this. I assumed, at Wyze prices, that I was getting what I paid for. But when I finally had enough constant stress and spent the money to change to Tapo… my life has been changed. Seriously, I probably added years to my life not being so stressed out all the time because my cameras never, ever worked right. These do, and I cannot say it enough times… if you’re currently using Wyze then get one of these. Use it for a week side-by-side and tell me what you think.Super light, have a few of mine mounted with ‘hard plastic velcro’ (3M Dual Lock). Setup is fast and easy, and works right away. Don’t have to do it over and over again (Wyze). Clarity is superb - 1440p quality. Night vision is phenomenal. Don’t really care about ‘color’ night vision - but my outdoor ones do have it. And one of the best parts is Tapo is part of TP-Link. What does that mean? TP-Link has been around for a very long time, and they specialize in networking equipment, LoL. So yeah, if you want a reliable camera on your network, who better to trust than a networking company.TLDR: Don’t waste your time on any other brand. Buy these. I promise you won’t regret it.About Wyze:If you’re like me and never wanted to spend thousands on home monitoring and security, then you may have stumbled upon Wyze cameras. At first, they were amazing - very affordable with no subscription necessary. And they worked. Over time, that changed drastically as they ventured into making everything else on the planet instead of focusing on their roots (cameras). They funded that stuff by changing to a subscription policy. And in their haste had multiple security breaches and problems such as other people viewing cameras that aren’t theirs. This is of course while the software and hardware has become so incredibly bad that they’re unusable. I mean, they actually do not function 92% of the time. Whether it’s freezing, not connecting, stuttering so bad that it looks like a PowerPoint presentation, app for closing, etc.

Perfect camera
This camera is wonderful in our front yard. It catches movement and will track it while remaining quiet. This gives me piece of mind when I am home alone or if I’m out that my home is secure. It was super easy to set up and there is a little lagging when following with the clarity of picture. Once it stops moving the picture is super clear.

Great WIFI ONVIF Cameras
Great cameras, especially if you want to use your own DVR such as Agent and ONVIF. Best wifi connection of any camera I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. App is good without being annoying. Camera image is good even at 1080 but can do 2K. Can't really speak to other features since I used ONVIF. Tilt&Pan works fine, rarely does camera deviate from its set position (usually squirrels or raccoons climbing on the camera will move it, but it's rare. Used to have this problem a lot with another brand.)

Great Cameras - Awesome App
Enter Tapo cameras. Easy to set up. Great app features. The Tapo app is extremely easy to understand and is thoughtfully designed. Tp-link actually manufactures the Tapo productsThe cameras themselves are good. Good clarity and great night time vision. I appreciate the ability to insert a physical micro sd card for video storage. You aren’t forced into some cloud serviceThe motion tracking option isn’t bad (it’s not great though often moving too slow to keep up with the target)It's a nice camera, it has a lot of nice features. It has a line crossing detection feature, as well as person, pet, motion, vehicle, and camera tampering detection. And the picture quality is really nice.CONS.My only complaint isi got vehicle detection off if a car passes it doesn't activate motion detection day time ,at night when it's dark a car passes by with its headlights on trigger motion detection should not activate if it is off.that's why I gave it 4 stars if you live in an area where not many cars pass by at night I don't think you'll have problems.the vire should be longer the white the one attacked in the camera so if you have a place to hide like in my case,it would be more convenient, microphone is not of great quality when is wind that's all you hear.Overall, I'm happy with the C520WS and its ease of integration, even if the lens isn't quite what I expected.

Worth every penny!
This camera works great and is worth every penny! After buying a couple different cameras trying to find one good enough for my driveway I came across this one and man am I glad I bought it. It has local storage so you can put a SD card in and not have to pay for any subscriptions. The night vision works great, the picture quality is good for 2K and you can even zoom in! Super easy to install as well :)

Amazing cameras
After a long time looking for the perfect security cameras for my house I came across this ones and I read all the positives reviews and made me buy them. I’m very happy with them (so far) the video is so clear and record everything. Easy to install with the app and I like that you are not required to have a subscription. Will update later if something doesn’t work.

The Best Yet
I’ve got the solar cam in 1080p, 2k, and now this 4k rotating. It’s leaps and bounds better than the others. The 24/7 recording is a game changer, but I would rather it play back in normal speed instead of like 4x. But, you can slow the playback speed to make it more like normal speed. The person/vehicle tracking has worked nearly flawlessly, I’d say 95%+ perfect, and is a great feature. It picks up on vehicles and people much more quickly than the other cameras, and gives me far less false alerts. I have 12 indoor/outdoor Tapo cameras, so setup only took a few minutes since I already had the account/app, but it would be quick even for a first timer. This camera punches well above its weight class, and is a great price for what you get.
