Earth ground was never so easy
I never thought I could be so excited about a piece of wire with a 3-prong plug on one end and an alligator clip on the other, but this thing is great. It completely solves the problem of connecting both myself and the ESD mat to earth ground (which, as I understand it, is superior to circuit ground, but I'm new at this). The ESD mat has a ground wire with an alligator clip on the end, so I just connected the alligator clips together. It seems very secure. This is a far better solution than connecting a ground wire to the outlet cover plate screw which may in fact not be grounded.

Snug and Turquoise
Great cord made of great quality. Overpriced = Y.E.S. Turquoise color and not as pictured here. This grounding cord fits snug into the wall outlet (unlike another grounding cord I own that I will return that is only a one prong/third hole male adapter that loosely fits into the grounding port of the wall outlet) and indeed grounds as tested with my digital multimeter.Recommended grounding cord.

crazy color
This clip cord is just what I was looking for to connect grounding fabric for EMF blocking. But, the color shipped is a bright turquoise. It is not easy to hide in the bed area but not worth returning. I think it is very functional despite weird color and overall very happy.

Works but price jump ridiculous
My friend came over with her high end voltmeter and showed me that all i need to do is clip it to the usb port of my MacBook Pro and the readings in my body went from 40K to 100. I'm not sure why I paid $12 for this last year and now the seller wants $30? All it is is a 3 prong plug, wire, and an alligator clip.

Be careful!
I was really excited about this project until I learned a little bit more about electrical wiring. Apparently despite standards and codes a lot of electrical wiring in buildings, especially older buildings are pretty problematic and using a product like this can allow the energy to be conducted through you or whatever you are connecting this ground to. I have spoken to people who have used similar products and ended up with Elevated CRP levels. If you are going to ground, it is probably best to use a grounding rod to the earth outside. I'm glad I learned more before I used this regularly.
