I can never get even slices when I cut a cake. This tool will help you to get even slices every time. Simply center it on top of your cake and press down slightly, you don’t have to put much pressure. Take it off and you will see exactly where to cut. It has two sides so you can choose from thin slices or thick slices. I love this tool and highly recommend it. Now I need to search for a tool like this for my rectangular cakes.

This product is good for marking a cake. It shows you were to cut the cake to get a set number of slices. It does not have any kind of blade on it so you will not be able to use it to slice your cake.

I was cutting cakes into 14 slices but marking by hand which was awful. Slices would end up different sizes or I would end up starting over before making my first cut. Found this and instantly fell in love. This marks the cake and then the cuts are a no brainer. There are a few instances where cake toppings prevent the use of this but that's pretty limited scenario. The cakes are smaller than the marker but centering is pretty easy. If I could change one thing it would be to make the parts that mark the cake go all the way to the center. That would make this thing even easier to use.

The portion device worked out just fine, I was able to get equal sized slices of cake. Also, important was the amount of slices cut per cake. I was able to get exactly 14 slices. I did have trouble determing which way to turn downward on the cake since it was 14 slices on 1 side and 16 on the other side. Maybe it could come in two separate pieces.

Great value, and makes it easy to preslice the servings, and stops my sons from just hacking away and taking huge chunks of Cake. Pre slicing makes them more conscious of others. 😊😊

This utensil was perfect for what I needed! I am baking and selling keto desserts and needed exact portion sizes, it worked perfect! All you do is gently press it down to make the lines for the portion sizes. One side has 14, flip it over and the other side has 16. It’s a great utensil to have perfect portion sizes everytime!

It does just that and only that, marks the cake for 14-16 slices. It kind of made my slice a little messy. I was a little disappointed, I would have liked the marker to have been able to cut the entire cake into the desired slices. But that is not what it is suppose to do, it is a marker, not a slicer. So it does what is advertises, marks the cake, but kind of messily I might add.
