Suuuper rich and chocolate-y and absolutely delish! I got the 100% unsweetened cocoa powder to use in baked goods, mixed in with greek yogurt and fruit as a yummy treat, or blended into smoothies. And it has worked fabulously for each of those purposes. Ghirardelli is my favorite cocoa powder brand! And at this price point?? Absolutely a steal!

This is wonderfully rich chocolaty cocoa that makes my brownies, cakes, and frostings a hit every time. It deserves the full five stars as a rating. But Ghirardelli's cocoa used to come in canisters that were easy to store and easy to scoop and measure from, but the new pouches the cocoa comes in now are inconvenient to store in the pantry and even worse to scoop and measure from and are prone to spills of the contents since the zip lock closure can be tricky to get completely closed. I also question how fresh the pouches will keep the product compared to the old snap-cover canisters. These pouches may be easier and cheaper for Ghirardelli to ship to distributors, but they are a definite miss for the end users. The pouches earn only a three star rating, and that is being generous. So averaging the rating for the product and its container, I'll have to give an otherwise excellent product only a four star rating. Ghirardelli, are you listening? Please bring back the canisters for your cocoa and do away with these pouches!

Absolutely delicious. Great texture and beautiful color. It elevates any pastry and works perfectly even as a simple accompaniment to coffee. The aroma is absolutely irresistible.

I HIGHLY recommend this baking cocoa! If you love or even like to bake, this is by far and away the BEST you can use. It's a bit pricey, but worth every cent. My husband loves red velvet cake and this takes it to the next level. I made a devil's food cake that my brother's step-son who doesn't normally like cake, absolutely loved. Another thing we do with this cocoa is add it to our cream cheese icing to make it chocolately. Dutch process is by far the best quality and you can't go wrong with this.
