Amazing, but not his best
It's Michael DeForge, so of course it's pretty great, but this is not the best Lose. It's worth every penny at twice the price, of course, but a little disappointing when each previous issue of Lose blew the one before it out of the water. That said, I just got this today so maybe it's just an early reaction. I also can't seem to stop reading the main story. Again and again. So maybe there's something to it.If you're new to DeForge, I'd grab Lose #5, 4, or 3 first (or A Body Beneath, the Lose anthology), or Very Casual. Or Ant Comic. Heck, buy them all, they're fantastic and will probably be worth hundreds of dollars in 50 years. Then, if you're as hungry for more as I always am, grab this one; if you're just lukewarm, skip it.

Five Stars
Super self-aware and serious but also playful and spontaneous. Really beautiful work.

Lose Forever
Typically great stuff from DeForge-- the main story in this one ("Me as a Baby") is one of my favorite stories he's ever done. Dark, weird, amazing comic.

One of my favourite comics. I had the best time reading this
One of my favourite comics. I had the best time reading this. That being said, this comic may not be for everyone (ie mothers or people with no sense of humour).
