Shostakovich: Five Pieces - For Two Violins and Piano (Set of Parts)

This set of pieces by Shostakovich is a "treasure" if one is looking for enjoyable, not very difficult music for thisunusual combination of two violins and piano. They are character pieces (arranged with Shostakovich's approval)and are alot of fun for students and adult amateurs to learn and play. This is a pricey set of parts, but otherwise a nice addition to a "chamber music library" for a coach, or a school with intermediate/advanced students.

Good print, fun to play.

This is great music!The 2 slow movements are hauntingly beautiful!The others are great fun.They are not too difficult either.
