🦐 Hatch the future of fish food – because your aquatic friends deserve the best!
Greenwaterfarm Fairy Shrimp Thailandensis Eggs provide a premium live food source that promotes exercise, health, and survival for bettas and other aquatic pets. These additive-free eggs hatch into nutrient-rich fairy shrimp that can survive 3-10 days without feeding, making them a convenient and natural alternative to pellets. Optimal hatching requires stable temperatures (78-80°F) and gentle water circulation, ensuring a thriving culture that supports all life stages of tropical fish and amphibians.

BEST HATCH EVER!
I've bought these before and hatched about a hundred shrimp from a vial. This time I increased the water volume to a 10 gallon tank and created a gentle currant with a bubbler wand so the water slowly circulates the tank. I also increased the water temperature from 78F to 80F. This made a massive difference. I have hundreds and hundreds of babies this time. I think the key is volume of the water and temperature. Smaller containers of water will fluctuate more in temperature and become dirtier faster. I have no filter and I'm pouring a litre of green water from the pond in every day. They are so cool! They devour algae until the water is crystal clear!

Better than expected, so far so good!
The quality of the eggs are better than expected! The first capsule used took about 48 hours for most of the shrimp to be free swimming, with some still hatching. Water temp is 30 C, with just a rigid airline tube in a Ziss brine shrimp hatchery, and the smallest mini heater I could find. I plan on using spirulina powder to feed them, same as I would with brine shrimp. Looking forward to raising these.

3 Weeks and Nothing
I set up two containers for the eggs to hatch in. Both have RO water and one is under a heat light. It's been 3 weeks and neither has hatched anything. Now, I ran into this with Moina eggs I bought a couple of months ago on Amazon. Over a month in, nothing hatched. I had four containers set up (2 with RO water, 2 with tap. 1 RO and 1 tap under a heat light, the othr two, without).I contacted Green Water Farms and they sent me more eggs. Those hatched within a couple of days without any special conditions. The original eggs eventually started hatching after a month, though not many hatched from the Amazon eggs. I think I'm running into the same problem here. There must be some mishandling of the eggs once they hit the Amazon warehouse. Could be way too hot or something. I wouldn't say too cold because it's recommended that you store them in the freezer. I may contact GWF again over this. 05/17/2023 Guess what? Still, nothing has hatched. 06/30/2023 Things started hatching a couple of weeks ago. I say things because I have 1 fairy shrimp and a ton of either Moina or Daphnia. I have one capsule left. I was hoping to raise the shrimp to feed to my juvenile axolotls. I guess that'll never happen.
