All was great the first few months. The app is slow and glitchy at times but that's not a reason I would give a poor review. I can deal with those things. What I can't deal with is getting hacked and being watched. I feel violated and disgusted, and scared to say the least. I gave it the benefit of doubt the first time around after I noticed my camera was magically pointed on me after I woke up and saw that it had moved in my recordings in the middle of the night. No one could have moved it except me and you can clearly see I was in deep sleep when it magically moved to me and stayed on me the rest of the night. Again, this has NEVER happened before. So I changed all my passwords, including the camera password and my WiFi password in hopes to deter it. Nope. Next day my app kept logging me out, saying connection failed, saying incorrect password, then I could magically log in again as if everything were normal except it moved again. First to where I was sleeping the night before, then it moved to a different area of my house where I have never pointed it before. I point it to my dogs and that's it. I never move it. Very disturbing. I'll assume I've missed the deadline to return it, so in the trash it goes. I can't risk my safety like that.

Getting a black screen every now and again which is not helpful to me when I am at work and want to check in on my kids. Also goes offline quite a bit and I have to reset it. Returning this item due to lack of constant video, which again is what I need and because of having to reset the camera.

The camera is very good. The picture is great and you can control it with your phone.The 2 way talk is much louder than my other cameras. I would give it 5 stars but it took me like 10 tries to get it connected to my wifi. It does not work with 5ghz. But even my 2.4ghz, it took 10 tries. Each time was the same, I didnt do anything different, it just finally connected. Now it works great.

I just received this yesterday so I’m still playing with it. However, I found it very easy to set up and to access from the app. The photo quality appears to be pretty good, and the night vision was excellent. I’m going away at the end of the month for a few days and that will be the real test.I do wish the cord were longer, though - if you intend to place this in a high spot it’s practically a necessity.*** update - 3.10.2019 **I've had this camera a little over two months and for the past week it hasn't worked. I have tried everything from resetting to unplugging and trying in a different socket, room, etc. and it won't come back to life.I'm sorry to remove stars but I am having a hard time contacting the seller so I feel like I now have a $35 object that's too light to even be a doorstop. :(*** update *** It's still not working.

I don't know if I like it or if it works because I cannot see the tiny print of the instructions. Is there a way to download the instructions?

The camera works great on all aspects except for two things. 1) It doesnt pair new cameras with a Google PIxel. To be fair, none of the wifi cameras seem to. 2) This was the deal breaker. It doesnt hold a wifi connection well. When it reconnects, it blasts a notification that the camera is now connected IN THE ROOM. Thats right, feet away from your sleeping child, this thing screams that its connected and then a second later, it comes through the phone that its connected at deafening volume. Ran into the room, unplugged it, and sent it back. Cool feature during setup, HORRIBLE feature in use.

I purchased this in a while to try it out. I liked all the features I saw in it's specifications so I thought "why not"? Let me tell you, I was happily surprised. It does everything as advertised. I can check on my dog from ANYWHERE. It's so cool. I showed my mom and she couldn't believe I could no I've the camera in real time. Definitely a great option for someone who needs an ad fordable way to keep tabs on their house.The two photos are of the same room 10 seconds apart. One is IR (infrared/black and white) and the other is when sufficient light is present (color screen shot).

UPDATE: So after reaching out to the manufacturer, I was able to resolve my issue with the SD card not saving video and the alarm bot sending me updates. They were prompt and extremely helpful. They even emailed pictures for those not so texh save! If you have a problem I would reach out to them regarding it! I'm no longer returning this camera and happy with my purchase.OLD:It is a good camera worth the price if you just want to check in on your house or animal. Clean video. Easy set up. If you are looking for security, this is not the system. Notifications happen hours later, if at all. The alarm is very weak. Inability to save to our sd card is frustrating.
