Bright Bites Daily Dental Dog Treats, Cool Peppermint, Medium, 5 Pound Box

When my dog was a puppy I bought her the medium size. She is a golden retriever and I used the medium until she was around 30 lbs. At that point with her puppy teeth, she would slowly chew these. She had bad puppy breath and these helped a ton with that. However, I bought her the large size when this box ran out and she no longer chewed them slowly. She would finish one in under four minutes with no change in the smell of her breath. We brush her teeth and she has other chews that last much longer but her teeth were white with no plaque while using these. If your dog is a slow chewer and has bad breath these are worth it, otherwise they are fairly expensive for a quick treat.

BEWARE!!!!! The peppermint Bright Bites contain blue dye #2!!I have been buying my dogs the spearmint Bright Bites for YEARS and have had fabulous success with them keeping my dogs teeth clean. After my local store quit carrying them, I came to Amazon and decided to try the cool peppermint. When the box arrived, I decided to read the ingredients and what did I see?? These flavor contains blue dye which is linked to cancer and other health problems!!!I am VERY particular about what I give my dogs and spend a large sum of money buying them nothing but the best food and treats. I read the back of each and every new treat I buy for my dogs. I am appalled that the peppermint Bites are not made with the same ingredients as the spearmint!!!! I will NOT be giving these to my dog regardless of the $65 dollars I spent and I will be contacting the company who manufactures these!

My dog loves these. They're not cheap, but a 5lb box can last for a while. I find the "medium" size to be quite large for a 20lb dog though.

My dog loves these. He looks for one as soon as he finishes his breakfast. It also is going a great job on his teeth. They put a big smile on his face...and on mine. It's so nice to see him enjoy something that's also so good for him.
