Nonoise Swim & Watersports - New Generation Ear Plugs - Ceramic Filter

I had a terrible problem with post nasal drip after swimming. My sinuses drained constantly and actually made sleeping difficult. Compounding the problem was the eventual ear infection which laid me out for a week. Now, I use these plugs in combination with silicon earplugs over the top. At first, thought the silicon would push the plugs in too far. But it was a perfect combination and I have had no problems whatsoever.

These Nonoise help me hear others in the water and block water and air as described. I have had other earplugs get washed out while others that don't get washed out really shut out the sound. My main goal with these is to prevent surfers ear so time will tell if they are truly blocking the wind amidst the cold pacific water.

Plugs are great, best I have used so far. I have used every pair on the market except custom plugs for surfing. I can hear and it keeps the water out. The reason I do not use them is because you cannot remove them from your ear, stem is not long enough. I need tweezers to go in and pull them out. Once they correct this issue I will give them a 5 star review.

Today to my surprise the company I thought had ignored me, sent me two free pairs of replacement ear plugs of different types. They both appear to be of a material easier to hold with wet fingers and they also sent one pair with a string. I am thankful for their listening to my suggestion and attempting to correct the problem. As I said originally, it was not the product, which was good but my little fat wet fingers could not get a grip on the stem to take out the ear plugs. I hope in the future they put some simple nipples on the stems, but I as I said I think this pair will work well and I do thank the company for their effort. -------- It is I believe a week and I am disappointed no reply from the company. The attached photos, shows the longer stems on competitor products and nonoise earplugs,(middle). It is the first time for me that an amazon company did not respond. I gave the product 3 stars however there was a serious problem. The stems were too short and I had difficulty getting a grip on them to pull them out of my ears. I swim daily and have used various types of plugs. Even the cheap ear plugs have long stems so you can easily put them in and pull them out. Another plug from a good company had short stems, but they had a small nipple on the end you could grip. These plugs worked well if not for the short stem. I cannot recommend this product until this stem problem is corrected. I believe if the stem product was corrected it would be a very good product to use.
