Honestly useless I put it for an hour. I sit next to it and I got 100 bites not worth it

Took this to the islands with me during vacation and it worked great!! I used it in the bedroom every night. There is no smell or ordor. The cartridge it comes with is small and only lasted one night so we bought larger replacement cartridges to last us the rest of the week. Overall, this is a great way to keep mosquitos at bay and sleep soundly. Though, over time, can get expensive with the cartridge replacements.

I had zero hope for this product. I live in South Louisiana between swamp and woods at my temporary place. When I tell you mosquitos swarm by groups of 10 here at every hour of the day, it isn’t an exaggeration. I am exhausted from constantly slapping myself to kill mosquitos. I’m in a temporary living situation inside of a warehouse. I have outdoor furniture in there and will sit and shoot the ball with my dogs out there. There’s a man made screen situation in the garage with a dog door but the dog door isn’t blocked. Mosquitos swarm in there too. I used this for the first time while I sat outside in the evening when it’s the worst out. They were definitely still around, but not like how they are when I wasn’t using it. There was a slight wind gusts sometimes and I do think my dog constantly running up to me somehow maybe broke that barrier compared to just people sitting there. I’d say on a not very windy evening, it was 80% effective. I used it several days inside the warehouse where I shoot the ball. There is no wind in there. My dog is coming back and forth just like outside. It was 100% effective there. I gave it 4 stars because it does work, but the likelihood of people using this being in a warehouse like me is slim. Most people will be using it outside and unless there’s no wind, it won’t be absolutely effective. It’s super easy to use and it’s quiet. There’s no scent. I’m curious to see how soon I have to replace the liquid pack it comes with.

We live in an area where there aren't a ton of mosquitoes, but the ones we do have are persistent little fellows. They are also the fastest and most agile bloodsuckers I have ever encountered. It is like they have a detection device because as soon as you look at them, they take off. They are huge fans of ankles. Anyway, we bought one of these to try to make our morning coffee and evening cocktails a little less like a visit to the Red Cross Blood Drive. We bought one and the results were sporadic. It seemed to reduce the number and also slow others down enough that you were able to swat them. But it certainly didn't eliminate them. We got a second one and now we put one down by our feet and the other on the table. This has seemed to do the trick (so far). Will follow up as we get more use. They are easy to use, silent, and odor free. As others have stated, they DO NOT work well with even the slightest breeze. And, despite Thermacells claims, it does not have to be a strong enough breeze that it keeps the flying phlebotomists at bay. My only other complaint is how long it takes to recharge. The battery life is not great, and it takes FOREVER to recharge. I really wish you could put rechargeable AA's in it instead. All in all, decent but not great.

Works great. Best if you remember to put it out 15 minutes before going outside. Much better than the gas cartridges.
