I bought this because the red rebel chilli was out of stock, I do prefer the red one but this is also really delicious and also has that beautiful lemongrass flavour. In case the bright green colour picture turns you off from having it in your food well it's a more brownish green when you get it and more appealing to look at in a stir fry.

This is a deliciously sharp, medium heat chilli sauce. It is gluten free and vegan so it's a great one to have in the larder knowing I can confidently serve it to any of my guests. I've used it on everything from fish to salads and it's always gone down a hit. The long shelf life means I don't have to rush to use it too; months in the fridge and it's still in perfectly condition.

This sauce is fantastic! I have used it on chicken and fish and it is also great as a dip. It can be used in cooking as well so I am looking forward to trying it!

If you’re looking for a fairly sweet intensely ginger glaze/dipping sauce (it’s very thin so would work better for that) then this would work well because all I can taste is ginger, there’s no trace of chilli at all and the lemongrass is missing too. I used it on plain steamed vegetables so nothing was competing with it or masking a mild spice, yet it failed to deliver. Possibly if you cook with it the flavours may develop but as it comes it failed to deliver for me.
