I’m really impressed with this book safe. The quality is great and it blends right in with the rest of my books so it looks realistic on the shelf. Unless you knew it was there, you would never guess it is actually a lock box. The storage space inside is larger than I expected and holds plenty of items such as cash, cards, jewelry, or small documents. It is lightweight and portable so it works just as well for traveling as it does for keeping valuables safe at home. The lock and keys work smoothly and the safe itself feels durable enough for regular use. For the price, it offers excellent value and gives real peace of mind. I have been using mine to stash both important items and a few fun ones and it has been perfect for both. If you are looking for a functional, affordable, and discreet hiding spot this one really does the job. I would rate it 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

The cover and spine feel like a standard hardback, and mine arrived without any of the glue or binding issues I’d seen mentioned in other reviews — the outer book portion is tight and holds up fine. The safe itself is metal with a simple key lock. It’s not meant to be high security, but it’s sturdy enough for storing cash, passports, cards, or other small valuables you just want hidden in plain sight. The included keys work smoothly, and the interior is roomy enough for essentials. Overall, it does exactly what I bought it for — an inexpensive, discreet spot to stash small items.

Seems to be okay, it looks good sitting on a shelf, the function seems all right but wish it had a magnet to hold it shut, going to try something but it is what it is a simple inexpensive little lock box that kind of looks like a real book.

This meets my needs perfectly. PROS: - Allows me to lock up kids' phones when they have lost their screen privileges. Good size and does not take up too much room in house. - Inconspicuous. The book design does not scream "look at me" but maybe if this came with options for other "titles" (the Bible? a classic work of literature?) it would blend in even more with the books I display on the shelves. - Durable. Lock cannot easily be jimmied. CONS: - Have not tested to see if fireproof or not. - Not big enough to hold certain documents without folding so not perfect for all needs.

The item itself is very useful as it does not look like a small lock box. The problem with this item is it comes apart And constantly has to be re-glued.
