Huge toner win-win!
SkinRXLab's MadeCera Cream Double Essence Firming Korean Toner is truly spectacular! It's nicely boxed in a white lightweight cardboard box, which holds an opaque white plastic pump bottle with a removable plastic lid, containing 5.07 ounces. When you first look at the bottled toner, it is two-toned, with a pink milky substance on the top half and a clear liquid at the bottom. The instructions tell you to shake it up, mixing the two liquids, then to apply the toner to your face by squeezing a pump's worth in your hand and then tapping the toner on your face with your fingertips or with a cotton pad.I tried both methods, and decided that I preferred the finger-tap method. The box's product description says that the toner is designed for "hydrated, firmer, smoother, and more glossy skin." I can definitely say that it achieved all of the above on my facial and neck areas, where I applied it. I applied the toner after cleaning but before a serum and moisturizer. And whoa! I cannot believe how moisturized my skin feels hours later! And it looks wonderful as well, with that glass skin look that I enjoy trying to achieve. Well, I achieve it with this, with almost no effort on my part. Just with the application of this exceptional toner. Definitely 5 stars.

Soothing, but with an identity crisis
This firming toner is a unique product. It is referred to as a "toner" and you shake it up, then apply it to the face with your fingers or a cotton pad. It is supposed to "deliver exceptional hydrating and firming results" among many other claims. I applied it after cleansing using a disposable cotton pad, and didn't love this technique, as it seemed like most of the product ended up soaking into the pad rather than my skin. Then, I tried applying it to my skin with my fingertips, which seemed to work much better. The product had the consistency of a very runny, milky serum. While it felt soothing overall, I found that the toner did not provide enough moisture for my sensitive, oily/combo skin, and therefore, I had to apply another moisturizer over the top of it.This brings me to my overall impression of the toner: I feel like this product has a bit of an identity crisis, and is not sure what it wants to be. It is not moisturizing enough to be a serum, but also not cleansing enough to be a toner. Therefore, it would need to be used *in addition* to your existing toner, and also *in addition* to your existing serum and/or moisturizer. So then, what is this product supposed to be? And why should I add it as an additional step to my already lengthy skin care routine? For me, it didn't do anything magical enough to justify this extra step.

Barrier-Boosting Beauty with a Soft, Supple Finish
This firming toner from SkinRxLab is a joy to use—soothing, nourishing, and beautifully formulated. With its two-part suspended formula, a quick shake activates the blend, and the pump-style bottle makes it easy to dispense directly into your palms for a smooth, hands-on application. The texture is rich and hydrating, absorbing quickly while leaving the skin calm and refreshed. I notice a slight, healthy glow after each use that settles into a soft finish as it dries down. Ingredients like milk protein, ceramides, and panthenol work in harmony to lock in moisture and support the skin barrier—ideal for anyone seeking both comfort and performance in a toner. What really elevates this product is how seamlessly it fits into a daily routine, especially when layered with the matching moisturizer. The price feels well-justified considering the formulation quality and visible results. A great pick for those wanting skin that feels cared for, not just cleansed.

Hydrating, slightly tingly/itchy
This 2-part toner needs to be mixed together and then applied like any hydrating toner. When I put it on it is initially slightly tingly in a way that is bordering on slightly itchy but also very very slightly painful. The feeling goes away after about 10 minutes and despite the feeling my skin does not look red or irritated. I checked the ingredients and this toner has both niacinamide and a few types of acids. I think some combination of those is creating the weird feeling, which means it is not necessarily a bad thing. I don;t normally use niacinamide products, but I have been meaning to try one out to see if it helps with skin texture.I have been using this toner for a week and so far haven’t noticed any skin changes either good or bad (but I was using another hydrating Kbeauty toner previously). So for now I would say it hydrates pretty similarly to most other hydrating toners. I will keep using it and see if after a month there has been any more obvious change.I am giving it 4 stars for now because it has the weird slightly itchy feeling but doesn’t seem to actually be irritating my skin. but if the itchy feelings doesn’t end up providing a benefit long-term, then I will switch back to my regular toner.

SkinRx Lab MadeCera Cream Double Essence Toner
This is a lovely toner that is very hydrating and easy to apply. Before you shake the toner, it will appear separated in the bottle and once you do shake it, it turns the most pretty shade of pale pink. This comes out just a tad thicker than a watery toner, but it is still very easy to dispense and apply. I like layering this with other toners and use this towards the end due to it's slight thicker consistency. I love that it offers hydration and skin barrier care in one step. It performed well on my sensitive skin-in fact, it was very calming. This product is also cruelty free and contains no artificial colorants. I think it is a fair value for the 5 oz bottle compared to other toners on the market, so I would recommend this a try.
