Bosch00189324 Genuine OEM Burner Igniter for Bosch Gas Cooktops

I have this range and 2 of the ignitors went bad. Asking Viking about it, I had to purchase the entire burner base for between $100-$150 each. They will not sell you the ignitor separately. I purchased these, and while I had to cut the spring to make it shorter, once I fit these, they worked like a champ! For the $ 24.- each I paid for these it was a steal. 5 minute replacement saved me $250.- for the two burners.

The media could not be loaded. Did not receive same part pictures. Missing the top cap!

I received in two sets of 5 igniters, 2 of the ones that my stove has, with a flat disk on top, and 3 of apparently similar ones (with the same part #) that do not have that disk, but only a metal "spot". Build quality appears the dame, but the metallic "spot" seems to be to far from the burner to ignite it.Only the ones with the disk work...By the way, all are re-labeled with the same part #, it is impossible to detect whether the code on the old label is the same or different.

This Bosch igniter part # 00189324 range in price from $13-25 via Amazon I received this item in short order with the Bosch part #189324 on each part bag BUT ... it's nothing like the website picture. My Thermador professional model # was listed as compatible and the picture looked exactly like what I have on my stove but when delivered I noticed the product I received did not have the metal tip ring as shown at the top of the igniter it was just a plain porcelain tip. I don't know if that's a problem but I returned all 4 pieces asap to Amazon. So be aware the picture of this igniter on the web page doesn't match the parts I received.

Part arrived quick and fixed my problem.Burner was not igniting. Bought an expensive part (igniter module) that turned out to not be the problem. I knew I was getting juice to the igniter (unplugged wire touched to ground -away from gas - gave me sparks). Should have seen that before I bought the module.

Easy to install, cheaper than a new cook top.

Two units are pictured and you have to read the fine print to figure out only one is included. The title needs to clearly state ONE in it.

I received only one of these. The picture is deceiving, gives the impression that you’re buying two items. Other than mentioned above, it works...
