Almost every race the sink falls off. I've tried different positions and still will pop off. It's working when it's installed. The sink does get warm so it's working but I wish it would stay on.

Some consistency, in the colors. As the picture shows, I have the purple ones, and two, have a slightly lighter tone, so, if aesthetics are THAT important to you, you may want to avoid? Otherwise, no complaints, here. They clamp on to a 540/550 (36mm diameter) motor just fine and stay on through basic jumps (I don't SNED it, like most people).

Ordered for a few RC vehicles which get warmer than I'd feel comfortable with!These are great, Clip on and go!For best results I suggest you pick up some thermal paste, add a small amount to the inside curve of this heatsink before you put it on the motor. (and make sure there are no stickers or labels on the motor can as well) but it works great as a slap on solution as well. Gives my motors more surface area to dissipate heat. and fit well even on my 4-tec 2.0 with limited space around the motor!I purchased a second set for my kid's 18v power wheels. You actually can fit TWO on a titan 550 motor, so it makes a complete circle around the motor and they fit snugly without leaving gaps. Both surprised and glad to see that!Keep in mind these heatsinks will not do THAT much to help your temps if there is no airflow around your motor, they add more surface area to dissipate the heat, but without airflow to blow that heat away it's just more hot metal.

i definitely notice a longer run time when running multiple batteries before heat cutoff. when driving conservative it stays on fine, but if i take it out to a park with proper jumps it does fall off a few times in a day. could probably toss a zip tie on it to keep it secure.

Excessive heat is a major enemy to any engine or electric motor. Some RC manufacturers charge as much as $45 for an alloy motor mount upgrade that serves as a motor cooling heat sink as well as fuel for your braggadocio. For about the price of a bacon-cheeseburger and soft drink, these finned heat-sinks snap on to 540 - 550 RC motors and do the same(if not better) job dissipating potentially damaging excess heat. And being able to protect 4 individual motors at such savings you can also brag about your keen sense of thrift as well as prophylactic wisdom.

Fins don't stay in place very well during hard crashes. I used craft wire to fix in place.

Nice quality, but i couldnt get it to fit on stampede vxl 2wd motor. I tear my trucks down alot so i know what it should be like. Theres just not enough width to put it in. So i cut 1/8th of a inch off and made it fit. Nice fit after that but if your not handy then find another one thats direct fit

Good fit on the 550 case motors. Used them for kids power wheels ride on to help with the heat.
