Work greatl and (relatively) easy to make.
Needed custom patch cables to clean up my board. Read some reviews that had some complaints, but here’s my experience:First, the cable itself is skinny and pretty bendable. The plugs are really small and flat, making them easy to fit in the tightest spaces. As far as making them, I was 8/10 on my first try. Took apart the two that didn’t work and immediately saw the problem: I hadn’t cut the cable end straight. Snipped them again nice and straight, and bingo. So, make sure your cuts are nice and clean and not angled. Also, I made sure to really push the cable in and held it in there before bending and putting the plug cap on.Worst part it getting the tiny screw to sit in the hole so that you can screw it in. It’s tiny, and you have to hold the cap down with one hand and try to get the screw started in the threads with the fingers on your other hand. The screw is really, really tiny, so this is maddening. I got better at it by the 6 or 7th cable, but it was driving me nuts. Probably dropped the screws 20. In fairness, I’m not sure what they could do about this. The screw is tiny because the wire and plug are small, which are things that I love about these cables.Sound-wise, they sound identical to the expensive patch cables I already own, but now my board is super-tidy and fits 2 more pedals than before!

laying out your pedalboard made easy
This set was awesome! Really no issues, you can make an awesome cable in under 2 minutes. My only complaint is that I have the better part of the whole rope of cable, and the packs of 2 connectors just isn't quite a justifiable purchase. If they sold seperate packs of 4 sets, or even more, that would be super helpful.

Great solderless patch cables for the money.
Easy to use. Cable seems a bit flimsy, but I have had no issues with sound quality and all of the connectors worked well. Great kit for the money, I would consider buying again.

6 months later it’s worthless.
These are very easy to put together and the small head on the jack was perfect for my pedal board. I would give this 5 stars if everything worked but unfortunately 1 of the 5 cords I made has a significant sound loss. I thought it might be the wire so I replaced it with a new piece but still had the same problem so it must be one of the jacks.Update: Seller sent me new plugs which solved the problem!Update 2: Well, now 6 months later I’ve replaced every cable I made from this kit. It got to the point where if I had a problem on my board, my first step in troubleshooting was to check these patch cables. I think the problem is that they have no flexibility. Once you bend them, they’re unreliable. I’ve tried reseating the cable with no luck, and because the cable is so small, it can’t easily be replaced with a different cable.

Great idea, but not frustration-free (and pricy)
Having a solderless kit to wire your pedals sounded like an amazing idea. In the past, many patch cables were either way too long, or way too short for my needs. This is a greay way to customize your set up while minimizing cable-management. My biggest complaint about this is the way the screws aligned (or, in my case, DIDN'T align.) I had a few connectors that simply did not want to go together. I'm pretty handy with technology (building computers, I've built my own guitar.) It seems like these could have been either designed a little better, or QC could have paid more attention to detail. The cable seems like it's well-made, but it's pretty thin (it does fit the description.) It'll work fine for a pedal board, but I wouldn't use it to run from the pedals to the amp, unless you know you won't be walking over it. Once things were assembled, they did seem to work well, and they look good.Another minor complaint is that extra connectors run $8.99 per pair at the time of writing this. Buying enough for 5 more patch cables costs more than buying another kit. Extra wire might not be a bad thing to have around in the long-run... I will need another kit eventually, and there is another kit that's virtually identical for $11 cheaper.

Very very finicky install. Got 2/5 of potential cables.
If I tried this again, I would do it differently and probably not make these mistakes. Of the five potential cables, I made 2 working ones. Lost one screw(so tiny, and effectively eliminated a whole cable) stripped two screws, they didn’t go in straight for some reason. The one I assembled with no problem turned out not to work. I think if you have a magnifying glass and high quality tools (like electrical tools) than these are difficult installing with a normal Phillips, even a small one. My mistake I guess, I did botch the install, but these are not easy to do. My hand honestly hurt trying to hold the cap tight to 1/4” jack, I felt like the sharp point was going to bust through my skin but it was the only way to hold it firmly to get a clean angle to screw into the tiniest of holes. I think fatigue was partly to blame for not being able to screw the others in straight. I wish these had a tactile click on the head that aided you in making sure the cap is secured to the jack BEFORE you attempt to drive the screw. Also, horrible instructions. Had to watch a YouTube video. The only reason I give 2 stars is because I actually got two working cables and they feel quality and take up very minimal space on my pedalboard. Just gonna buy low capacitance soldered patch cables from here out. My fault, but is it really?? Best of luck to you, however.

Absolutes Top-Produkt!
Krasser Scheiß! Ich dachte nicht, dass das funktioniert, wollte es aber mal für mein Pedalboard austesten. Und es klappt wirklich. Richtig cool und sein Geld wert. Zentimetergenaue Kabel, keine wegstehenden Schlaufen, usw. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

A serious contender against the big guys
I bought this as an experiment, trying to find a cheaper alternative to the George L cable system I've used for my pedalboards so far. Having recently expanded my board (it's a disease) I found I needed at least four new leads of various lengths. These seem to do the job just as well as the George L leads, the actual leads themselves being about the same size and shape. There is one thing I prefer about these cheaper ones, which is the size of the heads of the plugs. They're significantly smaller, due to having no thumbscrew, just a cap and a normal phillips set screw in the side. This means better use of space on the board that the GLs, something pretty important when space is at a premium. I'd definitely use them again.
