Kingston HyperX 2GB 1066MHz DDR2 Desktop Memory (KHX8500D2/2G)

I previously had 5gb of this ram and 1 open slot. My pc has a clear side panel, so I got sick of looking at an empty spot and popped this into fill it.This ram is fast, even though it is DDR2, if your mobo supports the 1066 speed, its technically hitting speeds of DDR3.I haven't had any issues with any of the sticks I have, 1gb or 2gb sticks. Wanted to add another stick of RAM to my aging pc.Pros:cheapworks fineCons:poor overclocking(I haven't been able to overclock this stick like i have my gskill (F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK) ram sticks, which overclocked very easily and have taken way more then i would have thought possible.I purchased this stick thinking my overclocking success was more due to my motherboard not the RAM.)

I've used Kingston memory since 1983, and have never had a problem with it. With its lifetime warranty I never bothered considering that I would have a problem since any manufacturer which offers this type of warranty has to be sure that they produce quality products, which they do.This particular Kingston memory has heat dissipating shields which allow the memory to push its heat away, thus running much cooler.I expect you'll have no problems with this memory. Great product!

This memory is installed on an ASUS P5Q motherboard along with an E8400 Intel CPU at 3.0 gHz. I also installed an Arctic Cooler 13 heatsink assembly, because when I decide to squeeze more performance out of this system through overclocking, I want the CPU temps to stay chilly. I will post an update on the memory after I overclock, because right now it is still running at a paltry 800 mHz (that is: 400 X 2 for the DDR2 800 rating.)

the product was i'm sure good if i had got the right thing from the merchant i bought the 4g memory kit and recieved 1-1g stick of memory after a 2week battle with the merchant.i paid for 2day shipping this should be no reflection on the product but on the merchant who did how ever in the end refund my money.i will only buy from amazon its self from now on

I already had two sticks of these running at 1066 for years. I just bought two more and the new ones only run at 800. Even when I only install the new ones they run at 800. So I have to run all four at 800 now even though my old ones can run at 1066. I am disappointed in the new modules performance.

Memorias de alta calidad y rendimiento, era la mejor opcion disponible para mi tarjeta gigbyte EP43-UD3L, y definitivamente la mejor memoria DDR2-1066Mhz del mercado. El disipador que traen es unico y esteticamente impactante. Muy alta calidad, pienso en un futuro volver a comprar otro combo 2x1gb o quizas el combo 2x2gb sin ningun tipo de duda, ya he tenido 1 año trabajando sin ningun inconveniente. My husband had one stick of RAM go bad in his computer. After much searching, we couldn't find just ONE being sold by itself that matched the specs of the other, good RAM he had left.Until we finally found this. Works great, have had it a few months now with no problems. Good value.

Kingston was always about compatibility, value, performance and reliability. No difference here. Product is solid build, nice to look at and performs well. Having read the previous review I do agree that you need to overclock this memory to achieve higher performance. However, for the price it is no brainer. I have it in my work PC and will get some for home setup too. Am very happy with it and highly recommend.

Forget buying cheaper ... This memory has never failed me when building systems ... Great for overclocking and they are single sided , some motherdoards demand this due to chipset limitation ..... I have tried others but these are the most stable and tweekie !!

Ottimo prodotto, ho voluto queste ram oltre che per il fatto che sono fra quelle raccomandate dalla scheda madre, perchè penso che Kingston sia fra i migliori produttori di ram, infatti funziona perfettamente e sono garantite a vita.Amazon dal canto suo sempre un ottimo lavoro, un buon prezzo e la consegna esattamente il giorno stimato!

Die Kingston 2GB 1066MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5, KHX8500D2_2G (2GB 1066MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 DIMM) sind mit die besten Ram-Riegel, welche ich bislang benutzt habe. Ich arbeite immer noch mit so einer älteren Kiste, wo die Riegelchen reingehören.4 mal 2 GB dieser Riegel arbeiten bei mir ohne jegliche Probleme !Empfehlung !
