Just got this item and I am very impressed by its performance. Yes it is a bit loud but I don't mind except that I had not read that it would make any noise and it scared the heck out of me:) I checked the tires fullness as I filled each of them and in 3 sec they were full. This saves me a weekly trip to the bike store. So glad I got it. It also came fully charged, it seems.

Good CO2 alternative. Very small size and not too heavy. Includes a small hose with a presta adapter but it's not needed as you can hook the unit up directly to a presta valve. Very easily fits in a jersey pocket or saddle bag. You can use it as a daily digital tire pressure gauge to ensure you're at optimal pressure before your ride starts, but I would not use it over a floor pump to actually inflate or top off tires before a ride. This thing is extremely loud when it's running...about the sound of a power drill. So if you're normally pumping up at 6 AM before a morning ride, unless your neighbors live far away, I'd stick with a floor pump and use this instead of CO2 when you're out on the road and fixing a flat. The advantages over CO2 is that you can use it over 2x for a road tire, and you can use it to "top off" many times if you have some sort of slow leak you don't want to do a full tube swap. I usually only carry 2 CO2, so I only make the decision to "crack" the CO2 if I am fixing a true flat vs topping off an additional 10-15 psi I may need in the middle of a ride. And when using a full CO2 to fix a flat...you don't have to worry if you didn't seat the inflator on the valve properly and "waste" some of the CO2 that doesn't make it into the tube. You also don't need to remember to drain the tire/tube after the ride and put in "normal" air from a floor pump like you would for CO2...since CO2 eventually will leak out of tires/tubes due to it's smaller solubility in rubber. The only downside is to have to remember to charge it if you don't use it in a really long time. CO2 generally can be left in your saddle bag or repair pouch for years without worrying if it will work when you need it. We know that batteries slowly drain without use. However, most phones these days have reverse charging capability, so if you keep a short 1 foot usbc to usbc cable in your repair kit, that should get you by if you need it, assuming your phone battery is fully charged before you ride. You of course need to remember to recharge the inflater after use, but that's no different than remembering to put in fresh CO2 in your saddle bag after use.
