Back in Cambodia!
I visited Cambodia recently and brought home Kampot pepper, which was quickly used up when I discovered the whole family loves its deep, unique flavor. I bought this Mekong pepper hoping to recapture my memories of a beautiful country and was not disappointed. Next time I will order the “strong” variety for just a little more punch. Great product, well-packaged, arrived fresh.

Tastes Wonderful
I bought this (medium) pepper for the second time since last year. I love the flavor! I already knew Kampot pepper is famous, but this one, although it's a mixture of other peppers, tastes extremely fragrant and nice as well. Also, this time I've experienced some odd payment failure, so I had to communicate with the seller. They were VERY attentive and they even offered to give me a discount from the backhand for the inconvenience. I am not sure how that would work but I've emailed them and I am waiting for their response on it.

Flavors Conjures Dreams of the Mekong
This pepper is the best I have had. It has the perfect balance of bright, spicy highlights with underlying warm, sweet flavors. The flavor brings me back to sailing with a family in their fishing boat along the Mekong Delta in the early 1990s in Vietanam, and conjures dreams of traveling to Cambodia to the Battambang and Ankor Wat. When you buy this pepper you become part of Bhopa Chandra's and her family's 100 year tradition of harvesting pepper in Battambang, Cambodia.

Spicy! And good!
I converted over to ultra-high quality salt a few years ago (you must check out the meadow dot com). And it was only a matter of time before I did the same with pepper. I read lots of reviews of different types and decided to go with Mekong Peppers, not only for the quality but also the sustainability and care they extend to their farmers.

Cambodian pepper available
We got hooked on Cambodian pepper thanks to our niece, who lives in Cambodia. When we ran out of hers, we were really missing it, which made us happy to discover this. While it is not quite as flavorful as hers, it is still quite good, at a reasonable price, and much tastier than standard pepper sold in America.

Flavorful (medium) black peppercorn blend suitable for a variety of dishes.
I purchased the blended black peppercorns (medium). I use this flavorful pepper for soups, salads, and even popcorn. This is my second purchase of pepper from the Mekong area and I expect to purchase other varieties such as the red and the white peppercorns. Additionally, I was very interested in reading the inserts providing background information on the farmers.

Meh
I bought this pepper based on the reviews. I can't tell the difference between this and grocery store pepper. It doesn't have a distinctive taste and I find myself really applying it rather heavy to try and taste it on food. Maybe I got and old batch
