It is not sturdy. The plates tilt when you places an apple or orange.

Customer services went above and beyond by sending me an entirely new product. 4-stars for a straight-forward product.I purchased this product for a tea party themed styled shoot. It's cute, lightweight, and is about the quality I expected at its price point. The 3-star rating is due to the fact I received a damaged connector piece; I have to use the stand as 2-tiers instead of 3. You get what you pay for!

Was pretty sure I was supposed to receive a set of 2, only received one. However, it was a very cute cupcake stand for our wedding dessert table. Very sturdy and has a vintage tea party look.EDIT: the company actually reached out to me after this review and sent a second one because of the mix up! Very attentive customer service!
