Cupcake Club Box Set: Books 1-3 (The Cupcake Club) Paperback – October 1, 2013

seems cute, giving to my niece as a gift so hope she loves them. can't really say much more as i haven't read them.

God daughter was excited to start the set. Had to get all books that were available on Amazon.

My niece loved the books. Very entertaining. Would buy these books again. Perfect for little girls that love reading & cupcakes

I LOVE THOUSE BOOK

We received this collection as a gift from a friend who saw the ad for Peace Love & Cupcake after we saw Fancy Nancy theatre show at Vital Theatre in NYC. We began reading the first of the three books in this collection and were HOOKED especially because my daughter and I love baking. It turned into a daughter and mother bedtime reading story where I read aloud a chapter or two a night and we discussed all the issues of friendship, bullying, and overcoming "differences" that were found throughout the book. My daughter would then read chapters in-between our readings to see what would happen next. She is an avid 7 year old reader who can talk about these complex issues; recommend for advanced 1st graders, 2nd graders and 3rd graders although the girls in this book are fourth graders. The ending of the book also brought up the issue of jealousy and getting back at others who harm you and the lessons learned from these experiences. The culminating experience was watching the theatre production at the Vital Theatre in NYC (summer 2014) and afterwards walked to Magnolia Bakery near the theatre for some yummy cupcakes (and cheesecakes). We are looking forward to reading the next book where Jenna (with Latino heritage) is the main character (as the actress playing Jenna shared during the after-show-picture opportunity with all the characters in show).

My daughter absolutely loves these books. Once she starts reading she can't put them down. She mentioned that she identify herself with the main character. I absolutely recommend them.
