Not packaged as presented so hard to verify
It wasn't presented as pictured on Amazon. There's no label identifying it as being from this manufacturer or other identity to indicate that it's 23k gold leaf from this company. It's just a bunch of leaf pages that appear to have been torn from a larger booklet. I have to count to make sure they are all even there. Just not what I expected and with a product like this it's hard to verify you received what you bought.

I have been using different brands of surface gold for fine art frames for more than 30 years. I have used manetti in the past and found them useful but not incompetent. That is not the case now. The product is extremely poorly packaged with very little chalk and a flimsy string binding the books. The gold quality at 23k is light and very poor. At the price of gold these days I would think packaging would be the last place corners would be cut. I spent the most frustrating afternoon using this product I can remember. Horrible. German products far outdistance the Italian companies for quality in this product. I will never buy from this company again.
