THE BEST PSU I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!!
I love the Corsair PSU, I bought it 8 months ago and still works like new, have not had a single problem with it with plenty of power to spare, I bought it for my gaming rid and the coolest feature about it is that comes with integrated LED lights in it, White, Red and Blue or you can turn it off if you prefer. I definitely recommend the GS800 to anyone, better have power to spare than to need it right? =)

Great for a welder, not so much for a PSU
Purchased this product for a rigIntel Core i7 930Sabertooth x58 MB12G Ram2x EVGA Nvidia 560ti in SLIbasig HD and DVDcomboNice large Silverstone caseAfter a few months of use and adding nothing more serious than an extra 1TB external USB external HD I found my system consistently having Video Issues ( I thought) and locking up. After a particular serious bout of lockups, the PC refused to turn on and I found myself re-setting all contacts, when I pulled the 24 pin Motherboard plug I notice the two +12V pin connectors had warped and the plastic casing and cable were melting.Of course my MB is shot now and I can get an RMA for the Corsair unit... If I decide I want another one, but I am stuck with a damaged MB that neither Corsair nor Asus will repair (electrical damage not covered).I think I will stick to XfX or PC Power and Cooling next time. I don't think I am going to bother with the RMA, don't want another Corsair George-Foreman PSU.

Works fine
I had trouble at first, maybe a low voltage caused damage to a cable and had a kind of breakdown, I used the computer off continuously, at any time, even if I had a good UPS, as I had this equipment outside the United States, I do not I had the opportunity to ask for the warranty, so I took two times to repair the PC into a specialized service center, and they found a loose wire and repaired it for $ 50.00. After that the PC will not again fail for that reason. so far it works great and is very quiet.

Cost-effective and High-quality
This unit provides my overclocked, dual-GPU system with all the clean power it needs. It runs cool, quiet, and reliably like every other Corsair product that I own. What makes it 5 stars is that it does all of this at a low price.

Worth.
This bad boy is still powering my greedy system 5 years after I bought it.

Four Stars
Works well, but when taxed can produce an overwhelming amount of heat, needs a decent coolant system.

Trusted brand PSU
Installing was as expected, smooth and easy. No problems with connections, all cords and wires were able to find there places with room to spare in my over sized case. Yes my pc chassis is huge and I had no trouble what so ever. The fan runs quieter other PSU's that I have owned in the past. The red, Ice White, and Electric Blue LED lighting looks amazingly great in the dark. I gave it a solid 4 stars. The only way this component could have been better is if it was a modular PSU. BUT IM REALLY TEMPTED to give this 5 stars.I bought this from Best Buy, and it was on sale and less expensive than the GS-700, how could I pass it up. Really I couldn't pass it up, The GS-800 replaced my failing power supply sold by a company called Eagle Tech-(don't let low prices entice you) Dont fall for cheap-o deals like I did.THE GS-800 by Corsair is a great power supply unit backed by a 3yr warranty. There are many companies that sell PSU's that are complete trash, Corsair is a reputable source though.Do your home work before shopping for anything. Don't just look at the wattage, look at the side stickers and do your math. Total output, how much is being pushed on a rail and so on. And check the efficiency rating, do not buy anything less than 80+ certified and 100,000 MTBF- Mean Time Between Failures/And Read, read, read reviews. Google and learn.
